I’m new to the Pixel Art World and I’ve been buying the mixed container or themed containers. And just sorting them. But it’s a really fun and relaxing hobby.
How long do you think it's going to take for them to just release a couple more shades of grey, devoid of any RGB tinting? Pewter, Stone, and Charcoal are fine, but they're out of place with Light Grey, Grey, and Dark Grey. They need to respond to Artkall, who has had 7 proper shades of grey the entire time, including a darker and lighter shades of both Dark Grey and Light Grey. Also, your Blueberry Creme drawer has two distinctly different tones (5:08). Do you have another color mixed in with it, or did you get a bad batch from Perler at some point? Seems like it would be a headache separating the two when you want to use them.
No idea but I'm honestly pretty content with the greys at the moment. Maybe a Most Wanted Colors video is in order? And yeah, Blueberry Creme had a mixed bag or something. So annoying lol
@@Pixelartshop That's happened to me but I don't remember ever mixing them. Maybe some of them change color after a while. Happens to the white beads too, they turn yellowish if you leave them in the drawers. I avoid this by leaving them in the bag, sealed until I need them. The less oxygen the less they turn yellowish.
I've long since swapped to ARtkal beads. But if I were still using perler, I would be joyous about the colored grays. THey are such important colors. Especially dark bluish-grays
I need to upgrade my storage and was thinking of switching to the drawers like you have. Do you know roughly how many beads each one holds? Also, do you have an Amazon affiliate link?

I believe he got his older ones from the Container Store (I believe he mentioned that in shop talk 2), though I’m not sure where these “newer” ones are from.

@@Pixelartshop I'd definitely watch a most wanted colors video. You do way more shading than I do, so you probably have a bunch of wants.

What stores do you usually buy your perler beads from? Most art stores I go to have a pretty limited selection, and mostly only have the basic colors
You can order them online for fairly cheap on the official Perler Bead website!
Well, cheap compared to Joann's.
I usually get them from Michael's or the Perler website for bulk orders save more money that way

I think that they are the Akro-Mils 64 drawer on amazon! I could be wrong tho.
