Rare and amazing car. K codes with the HiPO 289 make up less than 1% of the 1.7 million mustangs produced from 64-67. We have one also, a numbers matching hardtop coupe in Silver smoke gray but no pony interior or the rally pac but it’s bone stock. I bet that things well over 300hp

From the outside it would be about 300. But if they modified the heads it would be over that.

wtf are those mirrors!?!?! I don't care if classics are improved but you got to put the original mirrors back on the car! Love the clicky clicky under the hood, the sound of solid lifters. Love the Ford 289 motor. What a legendary powerplant! One of the quickest reving V8 motors I ever owned. Also I like seeing that it still has the Gen on it not the Alt.

Cool! I had a 66, blew up the 271hp and put a 302 in it. Paid $800 for it in 1975. Sold it for $2500 7 years later.

    Wuauh! A super rare 1964 1/2 K-Code.
    Why? Because:
Still original carpets in the car (!) With no toe pads and the carpet endings stops at the sides of the rocker panel. This is so rare because almost all cars replaced their carpets. Also fully black hood hinges, black solenid starter, generator and hood bumpers with
cross head screws. All characteristics of an 1964 1/2 Mustang.
Unfortunately also some newer parts on the cars… but the basis seems to be real and therefore a very rare 1964 1/2 K-Code. Wuauh!

That’s what I thought too! Driver would have to lean way over to see the 2 on the end(?) maybe they ran out of room on dash area behind driver.

Ruins the interior with that Japanese wooden steering wheel. Never understood why these are intstlalled. They look like chit!
