I can't thank you enough! Recently, Christmas was here, so I asked for a Rubik Cube, the day after Christmas, my brother bet me if I could solve the cube by Friday, I would get $10 worth of Robux (800) . You are the best mate, i saw a couple of videos earlier on rubik cube and had to go under brain recovery, lol. Your methods are to simple and easy to remember. That is how we learnt maths i school, isnt it! I am watching your video step by step by since 4 days, and i can finally do the rubik cube until yellow plus in under 1min. Why do you turn only the upper side of the cube to get the right position of the yellow pattern and not the whole cube? Thank you for your answer.
Petra, you can turn the entire cube if you would like. I turn the top because it tends to be less confusing when watching the move for the first time. Happy cubing!
Hi, sometimes i end up with a plus, but 1 yellow on each side, not the 2 dots on same side. I also at times get the top heavy one, but only missing 1 yellow, not 2. recommendations?
To be extra clear: ive had several outcomes which are not mentioned, and all the other previous steps are correct.
Happy to help. So are you getting a loop? If so, describe what can of outcomes you are getting that are not in the vid?
As mentioned above, after doing fururf i get the yellow cross, sometimes i get 2 yellow on one side, i make them face left, i do clock clock counter clock clock flip counter and i can end up with 2 different outcomes than mentioned in this video. 1. yellow cross with 1 yellow on each side. 2. a top heavy figure, but with an additional yellow in bottom left corner. So only 1 missing yellow piece being the bottom right corner
@@Noobworkify I see. Yes sometimes the patterns are hidden inside the shapes. But if you keep getting the odd patterns, I would purposely turn it a non-orienting way to see if it comes up with an expected pattern. then you would be back on track.

I still can’t solve the yellow face, I did everything correctly and followed all the steps but somehow the yellow face always has one corner left that isn’t solved I kept repeating clock, clock , counter

If this ever happens, shuffle the cube really good and try again from the start. Let me know if that works. If you are strong on the previous steps it shouldn't be hard to get back. If it is hard to get back, then its a great time to practice the previous steps.
...I'm not going to say that the "infinite yellow" is bad luck because i don't want to scare you. So i won't tell you. won't even mention it. You won't hear a word from me about it. Not a chance. (watch a marvel movie to counter the curse. Not DC)

I was able to solve the cube multiple times without watching your tutorials again, but when yesterday I was solving it I stuck to an infinite yellow loop, not sure what point I missed but now I am not able to solve it ever again on the cube I have ever after scrambling it multiple time. I am facing exactly the same issue which Lana mentioned. If you can help to create a video to solve this INFINITE YELLOW loop then it will be really a great help. Looking forward to hear from you! I tried to search on TH-cam to find any such video using which I could get out of this loop, but could not find it. As you already know what this issue is, so I am sure you would also be aware how to solve it step by step, if you are aware how to solve it, then please create a short video for that, stating solving the INFINITE YELLOW LOOP.
@@abhishekkaushik4827 I thought about this and was wondering if you still have the cube that is looping. Could you do a test? If its looping, then instead of reorienting the cube, simply do the move again without reorienting. Do that one time. Then go back to normal and see if it is fixed. If it still loops, then skip the reorientation twice. Then go back to solving like normal. Still looping, then skip the reorientation three times. Would be really curious the result.
Lana, if you run into the infinite yellow again, try this: Instead of reorienting the cube to match the patterns, skip the reorienting one time. In other words just do the moves without reorienting. Then go back to normal. Love to see if that made a difference. thanks!

Hi love your tutorial more convenient and easy to follow... by the way I am sometimes confused about the “FLIP”, in what direction it usually goes 180 degrees? Is it clockwise or counterclockwise?
(Same flip with the other steps)

since it is 180 degrees, the direction can be clockwise or counterclockwise. The side you flip will end up in the same location because you are really just turning it upside down. Doesn't matter which direction you travel to get there. So just turn the direction that feels easier.

Yes, sometimes the cube will skip a step. no worries. Napoleon Dynamite would say... "lucky!"

that's right! (also in Knights Tale)
I got stuck on infinie yellow, but noticed when i got to the cross and moved the two yellows to the left that i also had 2 yellows on the right. It kept on looping through 3 diffirent paterns.
Changing the two yellows on the cross to face me (and have two at the back) instead of having them to the left got it out of the loop, and i solve the surface in 2 mofe cycles.
So, no curse, except for me cursing before i figures it out! 🤣

I got the infinite yellow. Did it just like you said. Checked both reasons for infinte yellow. I keep getting the fish without food and when it comes to the building the food is there. Lol

Be sure to check each outcome and re-orient the outcomes to as shown in the video. Since i can't see it, maybe the best thing you can do is re-scramble and try again.

i have two thirds of the cube completed. but the pattern I have is two eyes and a nose? also is it possible to end up with a diagonal line? this cube has been scrambled for about 10 years so I think it might be cursed, or might be because I like dc movies haha.

You have been weighed, you have been measured, and you have been found wanting.. I spent over 1 hr and solved up to Step 5 (two thirds correct) sadly the remaining pattern is not one of the four you mention here.. the yellow face has no corners correct, though two opposite yellow corners are in the face; (it is not a clean plus since don't have two yellow side pieces).. from this point forward I have no idea what to do, except find another set of videos to solve Rubic's cube 😭😭😭

I had the infinity issue mentioned in the video that some people have had. The problem in my case was caused by a twisted corner.

What do you do if you don’t have two yellow dots on the side of the clean plus? This keeps happening to me

you should be able to do the moves again.
If I have top heavy, how do I determine if it’s upside down? It depends on starting point? I can also just turn the entire cube to be upside down???
If it doesn't match the picture, just rotate the top heavy shape to match the examples in the video.

I have a yellow plus but no two yellows in one side. Yellows are evenly placed one per side. If I repeat your pattern I get all of the yellows on the right position but one corner.
Looping on Step 5? If your cube isn't broken... than check the sides. Make sure step 4 is really done. If it is, jump ahead and do the moves for step 6. Then go back to step 5. It might fix it. (i've never had it legitimately loop though). If you think it’s a twisted corner, you can find videos to adjust that.

Just commented on the last part(part 5) and I already had the plus and now I already have the fish without doing anything after step four if that ok?

hi, we have been caught in an infinite yellow loop for hours!!! we have even re-started 3 times from scratch. new cube. solved fine 5 times then all the sudden stuck! eek. we sometimes get all but one corner solved. no pieces have been removed... help. i swear i am looking very closely to be sure it is oriented correctly, too. it is making me crazy!
Kirsten, there could be a step you are missing. Check the sides to make sure all colors are matching on each side. My son and I race over and over again to see who is fastest. I asked him and after all of those solves he has yet to run into the infinite yellow. Scramble it really well and try again. If you run into again, then re-check the previous steps to make sure the result is correct.
If you are looking to speed-solve... well, that is a different channel. :)
@@EasiestSolve hey thanks for replying! Actually it looks like a corner got twisted. I didn’t know it was possible to do that without taking it apart, but its a new fast cube and apparently stuff moves around more.

Looping on Step 5? In all my time solving, I’ve never had this happen to myself. If your cube isn't broken... than check the sides. Make sure step 4 is really done. If it is, jump ahead and do the moves for step 6. Then go back to step 5. It might fix it. (i've never had it legitimately loop though). It’s from Daniel 5, but apparently they say it in A Knight’s Tale as well. After step 5 my yellow side was completely solved already, but I’ll watch the steps and see how you solve anyway, then I’ll scramble and go again.
