Nothing more frustrating is sim racing than spending all that time practicing and qualifying only to have your race ruined less than 5 minutes in to the event. I don’t know how you stay so calm. I don’t have a ton of time to game so maybe that’s why I ABSOLUTELY RAGE

I was watching this video 3 times and thought it is hyper-realistic VR, I was already shocked and stunned at how real it looks and also confused how the game or a VR headset could capture such realistic smooth movement from your hands UNTIL I finally saw that it is just 3 monitors and a real wheel in front of them with your own real hands 🤣🤣💀 Mystery solved!

The Radar overlay...have you found it useful? I've tried to get it to work reliably..it's fantastic at telling you a car is in front of you. I don't know why iRacing or 3rd parties won't just blatantly copy ACC's radar.

It’s incredibly frustrating sometimes but I just have to remember I’m very lucky to be able to do this for a living. I’ve also learnt to always look at the replay before exploding as it often tells a different story.

I'd like to think the public might get a kick out of a once a week race, something like the TCR series. Races aren't too long, about 1.5hrs all up if you only streamed the quali and race. I'm no streamer/content maker though only a watcher.
“Good job buddy” when collecting him was entirely your fault haha… You messed up a bunch of stuff for this corner… you said you were “coaxing him to the outside” but you left him over half the track to the inside… when you saw that he was diving inside and commuting to it (and late on his breaking point), you still carried more of your “normal” line for the corner. All you had to do was be a little more patient for the cross back and let him loop instead of driving into him and saying “good job buddy”. On lap 2, patience young one!
I'm not happy that you got wrecked by all these people, but I am glad it's not just me that experiences this. Makes me less concerned that it's a "me" problem.
@@boostedmedia If your heart rate is not significantly lower while not sim racing, I would definitely get it checked out. I have a bit of an elevated heart rate while sim racing vs just sitting, but your heart rate is in the range of someone jogging or even sprinting. A sustained heart rate of over 100bpm in adults when resting is considered tachycardia.

I've given up on this series because every race I've done was pretty much like that. I don't know why people are som much more aggressive in F3 races than other series.
I did same kind of experience yesterday on the GR road america. But still the collision physics is so weird in iracing. That t1 merge of the cars is a joke. Both cars should have broken nose and front weels.
I had a similar experience too. May have even been the same race. To top it off I got 7X by some dude playing skittles with the field after the race had ended.
Guy is taking turn 4 a car width off the racing line and it’s like “he should be in the right there to open up the left turn”, and a few laps later Will does the same thing and gets hit because he’s slow mid corner. Then it’s “he’s moving towards the right” and “I was going straight so it’s more on him” after there was contact as the track starts turning right after turn 2. Oh the irony! Lmao wish sim racers would just own it a little more instead of criticising others and then doing the same thing but suddenly it’s the other persons fault.
I respect your composure after all those incidents. Even affording a laugh afterwards. Lots to learn from you mate🙌

It’s a fixed setup series. More downforce would have definitely helped. His video was still helpful though.

They toned down the damage recently. In GT cars is actually more realistic now so you can sustain alittle damage and keep driving.

It’s just a mixture of my anxiety and my fitness not being great at the moment which I’m working on. My resting heart rate is around 70-80.
