Beautiful montage Tom! I love red kites too ❤ remember so excited when I was a kid seeing the dust and combine’s emerging in full majestically glory 😃 The passion of farming is something that cannot be broken. It’s a dividing line from the urban sprawl which only brings crime & desolation to our green and pleasant countryside.

Just looking at some of the fields that you maintain, I could not even imagine how hard it would be to take care of that much land without machinery, and how much crop loss there would be, thank heavens for the John Deers, New Hollands, Fullwoods, Weavings and all the other machinery producers of this world.

Tom, my boy!, why don’t you bail the straw strait away whilst still dry . Also, on another vid explain why barley straw is bailed but not generally wheat straw. Enjoyed this vid especially with that dramatic music 👏👏👏👍

I posted the same question on his channel too , just struck me as a great idea , highlight the differences and cross overs in both types of farming Cheers mate

It’s to waxy when just harvested needs to lay at least 24 hrs to dry out
