So, canada supports two state solution, which apparently only involves recognizing... one state??

If Canada stood firm, as the title of this report suggests, it would throw off its subservience to USA and Israel, and actually recognise the Palestinian state - as is our supposed policy - "two state solution".
Perhaps Israel should consider their own actions and why they are being accused of genocide instead of linking the actions of these 3 countries to the actions of terrorists.

I'm disappointed Canada cannot make a firm commitment to recognize Palestine as a State. What does Freeland mean when she says Canada calles for a 'two state solution'. Doesn't it follow that we should recognize Palestine as one of those two States, the other one obviously being Israel which was granted statehood in 1948. At the time there were 650,000 Jewish inhabitants as opposed to 1,200,000 Arabs living in the territory which was held under British Mandate. Now how does that make sense? It's time to right a historical wrong that has caused great violence and hardship.

British Mandate in Palestine included Jordan comprising 78% of the land and Israel west of Jordan river comprising 22% of the land. Does that make better sense?
