I Saw The TV Glow Was Interesting… (Review)

In today’s video we will be talking about the new A24 horror film “I Saw The TV Glow!” This movie stars Justice Smith and Brigette Lundy-Paine in an interesting psychological thriller that follows a couple of young characters that struggle to differentiate their lives from the lives of characters in their favorite childhood tv show “The Pink Opaque”. Overall this was one of the most unique films I’ve ever seen, here’s my full review!!

I can see what they were going for, and I wanted to love it, but it just didn't reach the emotional depth it was fixated on. Just not enough conflict, so the angst felt directionless when the message was so pointed. I really appreciate that films from this perspective are being made, and am excited to see more from everyone who worked on it; visually stunning mood generation.

yeah, I really feel you on that, like the movie worked, but it could’ve been so much better if it dove just a little bit deeper into the story they were trying to tell. Like by the end of the movie it still feels like they just scratched the surface of the overall theme of the movie, and I feel like it could’ve been a masterpiece. I did still really enjoy it tho
