And yes, Shinchan, or Crayon Shinchan, the story goes that the kid died while saving his sister from an accident. The mother was devastated and in her depressed state, she took the crayons Shinchan uses and starts drawing and sketching, imagining how her son would have been if he was alive. This was reflected in the last episode of the cartoon, where the mother is shown clinging to the crayons. All that we saw till then was just her imagination. The adult jokes and gestures suddenly start making sense. They were coming from a traumatic mind that was adult. See, even the Shinchan on your profile picture has a riveting and heart breaking story. You just need to narrate it right. Have a good life! Cheers!
