I think your shoes need a little TLC... but like other people suggested I would say add glue and then put a crew through the wedge to hold everything together.

try nailing your shoes to the base it should make it last alot longer .. or you can try e6000

evo contact cement could work for your shoes, hot glue isn't strong enough. hate shoe problems at a con!
