is it not dangerous to place your foot on the outer end of the footrest when cornering? I prefer my feet to be inside the footrests so that only the footrests are eroded by the asphalt. and at 4:56 I usually call it a half shift, not neutral and not in any gear. respect for "SuperSic58" sticker
That was not a "half shift", 4:56 is never supposed to happen. That's literally the sound of a transmission taking a crap. Also, your foot pegs should not be eroded by asphalt unless you're constantly falling which I don't really recommend.
Guys, give me your advice. I have MTech leather pants and Contour leather boots. Although sizes at both pants and boots are correct, they feel too tight and can't bent much or do a complete knee drag. Am i doing something wrong? Though that because they were new, they would need some stretches to be able to "sit" better on my body, but no. After 1000kms they are still tight. Thanks!
I don't typically advocate for body positions adjustment if the rider is setting decent lap times. However, if you're struggling to find the "correct" spot to be on the bike at the "correct" moment in the corner you're going to be chasing your tail. Shot in the dark is record your self and see what you're actually doing vs what you think you're doing.. proper thing to do is ask a fast guy to go slow behind you and help you with pointers and specific spots on the track. All else fails, try Sidis. It's why I wear them.
@@sabo7o7 Thanks for your fast reply buddy. You are right, actually never saw myself riding,I'm sure that the way im thinking am leaning it's different than the actual leaning angle and feet/upper body positioning. Contours were dirty cheap and wanted to give them a try because I'm not professional racer,i mean i don't want to chase lap times,i just want to have fun. Definitely I'll spend more money for boots next season, I'll give Sidis a try! Thanks again,be safe and fast!
I'm fairly new to motorcycle riding, so correct me if I'm not seeing this right. Does he move his foot up to downshift? And down to upshift? If so that is the opposite of my bike and I didn't know that existed in some shifters/transmissions.
It's GP shifting. Look it up, you'll see how to do it on your bike if you decide too. It's used in track riding to prevent your toe from dragging in corners where an up shift is needed on corner exit.
mkx200sx it’s a preference thing. Having GP shifting allows you keep your foot on top of the shifter so you don’t drag your toe mid corner. You can be just as fast with regular shifting. It’s just preference.
Sic sticker is fire🥵 Reast in peace legend❤️
I like ur tribute sticker to sic
Totally different perspective! Awesome!
Now I know where I've made mistake.. I kept heel inside. This explain wear on edge of the sliders instead on whole surface. Cheers for that video 😆
Really nice footwork.
Is this the Mazda Harris Hill track that people call thunder Hill in San Marcos Texas?
I don't think I'll ever be able to make curves like that, too perfect, congratulations

Actually their gears are setup that way.
I enjoyed this
4:56 ?
2:12 seconds for one lap!!!
Why push the knee out in the 1st place .??
You up shift by pressing shifter down? Is it only your bike or all race bike are like that?

@@sabo7o7 thanks for your answer :) p.s. nice riding
#SIC58
4:56 wat happened
Transmission synchros were damaged. This was the last ride on that transmission before being swapped out
Am i seeing this correctly: your pushing against the G’s with your outside foot?
@@TylerTron21 this is how dirt bikes are ridden too. You don't weigh the inside peg, always the outside.
Could you elaborate more on this point? While cornering, what points of contact will bear the weight of your body?
Is it hard to change your bike to GP SHIFT?
No, It shouldn’t be.
On a lot of bikes, you can just flip the shifting rod arm.
4:55 yo wtf
What app did you use to get your overlay of g force, speed, and laptime?
Dashware. It has a steep learning curve but you'll figure it. I'm pretty dense and was able to wrap my head around it. 🤘🏽
#SIC58? Lol😁
