We stayed here for 2 nights in an Airbnb and explored the city.

Good job on making that town look interesting because it is not. The traffic around there is terrible and everything is pressed right up on the street.
EXACTLY it is GHETTO im in coco at least the beach is close, there is so much to do in costa rica n u choose alajuela?

It is central to the Airport so we chose it for location
Alajuela si not prety i don't really recomend for tourists, al least the center

Depends what you are looking for,the park and the big mango tree,the market with big variety of fruit and veggies,the people pure vida and so forth,beautiful Alajuela,viva Costa Rica.pura vita mi pais con mucho orgullo.
