I like to draw, even though i don't draw often, when i do. It's special to me, it's something i can never remake to the same quality, that is what makes so much of the art that's made traditionally so special. I honestly love this video. I honestly thought for a long time that freelance artist would start to lose their jobs, Thank you for telling me that that can't happen, as if it were. the art loses the human feel.

I also think that art is a form of expression for artists and I hate when people think that algorithmic computer cannot replicate the creativity of human.
Also, the wording and ideas you put on the table are very similar to mine. I always think that humans are inherently different to computers because they interact by also receiving information from the place they draw and their own beliefs and values.

Well said, happy to hear others feel the same way. Humans will always thrive with their art over AI.

Also I am curious. Why did you choose the crow as you main subject in many of your sketches ? I would really like to know cuz I usually have rhinos and hippocampus.

Not that you asked, but Ive never consciously thought about it before and its kind of interesting. Mine are dragons and horses, and a good part of it is just the lasting effect of childhood fixations, but I also just love the shapes I achieve with them. They're familiar and comfortable and beautiful.

Every artist gravitates to their own animals, it's so interesting. Thanks for watching.

I don't think it will replace artists like fine artists. Because people will always want to buy paintings and stuff they like. But it will replace artists in corporate art like gaming companies and people who work on movies because those companies they don't care about the artists. They just want to get their movie done as fast as possible and if they can get it done cheaper. They'll cut a team from 50 artists down to two artists and use AI to replace the rest of the team.
They're not doing that at the moment because AI isn't there yet. It can't really make usable concept art. If it makes something halfway decent, it can't like repeat that same design differently and it can't fix the perspective problems.

Ai isn't going to make the concept art because it isn't creative enough. But it will start to take over some of the more tedious tasks, like drawing in-betweens and making seamless textures and details for background art.

@@Mr.Vertex that's basically what I said. It's not usable for concept art because it doesn't understand basic stuff. But in the last year alone 23,000 layoffs from the gaming industry have happened. And that's basically because of AI replacing all those boring jobs that require a lot of texturing that don't really require a lot of talent, just a lot of time. Ai can automate that. And a lot of meaningless animation jobs like in between like you mentioned.
They've even tried hiring like propompters. But they quickly fired them because they couldn't like fix the AI because they weren't artists and didn't know how to draw. But if your job is replaceable in corporate, they will replace you.
