@@theomnibenevolence kirigami is basically origami, yes this could be counted as paper craft, but it's still using origami, that being the main thing used here. And also its just lots of different sizes of paper being used to create all the mini models (you're allowed to use scissors to cut the paper into the right shape at the beginning!), could be defined as not pure origami sure, but isn't clickbate, and besides it clearly shows the model, and was a cute outcome

Thank you - your brain is amazing and beautiful! You helped me feel creative - this is the first origami I've done as an adult and it didn't turn out too bad thanks to your video! I could never figure out origami from a 2D instruction paper or book. (I did cheat by taping the stems to the backs of the leaves - that was the only part I couldn't get to work.)
@@hasf215 have a 15x15 cm paper, cut it in half. Use one of the halves for that one. I don't have specific measurements and it's the best I can explain lol

I had trouble with the stems attaching, so I slid them along the inside of the flap from the back, along the middle fold, then back out where it does a u-turn, so the fold of the stem inverts, and then it goes along the bottom, and is then folded down at the top of the leaf, so the fold inverts again, at a 90 degree angle this time.

Yes, you can avoid making that box, just make the soil a bit taller than the box so it doesn't get lost inside :)
