Stories like this one remind us that just because you're older, it doesn't necessarily mean that you're wiser.
When I was seeing a counselor, she told me that. I was like really? These people lived with their parents and acted like overgrown babies.
Yep. Most of the time, a-hole old people are people who were a-holes their whole lives and just didn't die. It's not a very nice viewpoint, but it's true, nonetheless.
I'm going 35 this year and at my job I was trained by a 19 year old. I was new and didn't know jack. I wasn't bothered at all being trained by them because they knew what they were doing and everything. I listened, learned and very thankful for them for getting me to speed with the job and now I work with a good team. Without them, I'd probably wouldn't last long and be back to the waiting list for a job.
Wisdom comes from experience.
Sorry, but if you’re a former CEO starting over at a whole new company, then it’s more than likely you ran your company into bankruptcy.
Oh, and it was easy to see that his wife wasn't going to come back, either. "want to see heaven?' The guy couldn't stop with the BS
That is what I was thinking, lol
And that is why he’s working at another company lol
If he was as negligent as a CEO as he’s being now, it’s no wonder he lost that job.
When much younger, I had to worked with a hangover. While no fun, it can be done. Regardless if an older employee, you still need to show respect to a younger supervisors.
I had a boss that was the same age as me, and he graduated a year ahead of me in school. I showed a lot of respect for him, because he had worked there longer.
I loved her, so calm and cool. loved it
This story reminds me of a similar situation I dealt with in my late 20s - early 30s. I started working in IT when I was 18. After 10 years of hard work, I was promoted to Director of IT. There were a few employees that were 50+, and they HATED the fact that they had to report to a 28-year-old woman. They were insubordinate, rude, and sexist and they didn't try to hide it. One guy said to me, "You're just a little girl. Instead of working here, you need to train on how to be a great SAHM and housewife. If you'd like I can start training you." Well, imagins his surprise when he was called into HR the next day, and was told he needed to either resign or be fired and be sued for sexual harassment. He resigned, and the other 3 (50+) men never said a bad word about or to me during the rest of their employment with us. Within 5 years they all resigned and personally thanked me for being a great boss.
I love how this guy kept saying he used to be a CEO as if that means anything. Yeah, the keyword here is "used" to be a CEO. Now, you're just a run of the mill employee so you don't get special treatment. And now, look what your massive ego has gotten you! 😂😂😂
Makes you wonder what kind of CEO he was and what happened to his former company.
Sweetheart. Please! Take that text convo to HR and get his ass fired on sexual harassment!
Sen it to the police~~that's a form of sexual assault.
He should've been fired after the second no call no show.. it's bad enough he wasn't going into work but he wasn't even calling out.. he's telling his boss F you, F this job, F your company. Why was he even still an employee? He has a shytty work ethic & an even shyttier personality.. he's a LIABILITY. He literally served no purpose for this business. You're paying him to nurse his hangover at home. He's getting paid to do absolutely nothing. I can see why his wife is "at her families house". He's crappy husband. Seem like he does the bare minimum as a husband like he do the bare minimum at work. He should've been fired as an employee and as a husband. What woman would stay married to THAT for even a second?
No-call no-show within first week of starting a new job?! Every place I ever worked would have said “Don’t bother showing up again. You’re fired!”
@@debbiep8260 That's the reality, but it would have made for a short story LOL
@@debbiep8260They better have a Dr's note or official accident report. That's the only way they got away with it from me during the training period.
Then he ordered 30 adult toys in her name and bragged about it through text.
@@lyndatuttle Dumb and dumber.....
What kind of business actually calls you? Every job I've had, they don't care if you show up or not, you would have been fired after the first time
Im guessing corporate offices run differently
Within the first stunt he pulled he would have been fired
No wonder his business failed. Wouldn't be surprised if his wife actually divorced him, and he's just delusional in thinking she'll come back.
I love how her voice stays so calm and collected and intelligent.
Missing days n being late stealing the company car and drink while in position of a company car, should've been fired on the 2nd or 3rd offense! Yeah, he WAS a ceo.... Right, typical drunk, blah blah blah....
Dont forget scumbag!
He literally confessed what he did... Why is he acting shocked that she knows?
This fictional universe is the mentally ret*rded one.
Where the people are slower than mouth breathers. Make peace with that or keep being frustrated. 🤷
Sexism?
Would never have gotten this far. Would have been terminated for no call, no show.
He said “ I used to be company president “ key words “ Used to be “
I use for a insurance company and the driver of a government minister got into an accident. Our company policy states that the person driving must come into to office and fill out an accident report. The government minister called and said his driver was busy and that I should take the report over the phone. Told him no and that the driver needs to come in. Then the ego line of “do you know who I am?” I told him yes, then asked if he knew who I was. He said no; I said good and hung up the phone. I did tell my boss who was the manager of the Claims Department and an attorney. I was his secretary and it was not my job but I like to help out. My boss’s reaction - he shook his head and laughed.
Excellent!
If you want a character to be professional then don't make them send text's in portions, doing that might get you lose trust in your peers and clients. Have then write everything in one message cause the op is looking like a complete newbie with no training
Wouldn't fit the template all these stories use.
If I wrote half of one of these exchanges, they'd be reading a few paragraphs out loud before Person B gets to respond! Text, email, note in an envelope & stamp: all the same format for me.
How is this guy haven't been reported to HR!?
....OH...CEO Papa and Grandpa are good.
Not there long enough to need HR?
YOU USED TO BE A CEO, NOW YOU'RE A WOKE, BROKE, JOKE, GET A BOX AND PACK YOUR THINGS AND BEAT IT
No show the first day usually gets you canned. That guy should have been canned, they don't try to talk to people. They just can you.
Poor MrJohnson. He caused his own demise.
Mr "I need this job" spent every day shouting "I don't give a shit about this job or my stupid, peabrained female supervisor!!!"
Gee, I wonder why his credibility crashed & burned?🤔
He literally just said he ordered 30
5 or 6 units per box.
Mr Johnson wouldn't have lasted past day 3 with that attitude
Not sure that I would want to work for a company that "tests" me with problematic new hires.
It's something that any boss is very likely to come up against. They should be prepared
She's training for an eventual CEO position. She would have to be capable of dealing with losers like that creep. A test of that nature is reasonable, given they didn't pile it on in a harassing way.
@@nancythane5672 She rocked it!!
🎵Mr. Johnson would get drunk / so his odds of goin' to work were sunk / just like Titanic after hittin' an iceberg / no one needs someone like that at work / and everyone would always hate that / everyone would always hate that🎵 (to the tune of "I Will Always Love You", which Dolly Parton did first in 1974, but of which Whitney Houston's 1992 version would become the more popular)
❤
Chalk and Cheese? Never heard That One before.
It's the newest catchphrase they've all latched onto. Before that, it was, "...that's my line," etc.
I thought it was word play with “Chucky Cheese”.
It's actually an old phrase.
Everything old is new again. :)
Avery nice story lol.
Wow something NOT about evil mother-in-laws, cheating spouses or psycho siblings!! Have a like for originality👍👍
Wow it doesn't take Sherlock Holmes to figure out why this guy lost his last company
Dang he screwed up ten days into his training.
So how did you lose you business mr perfect? Most companies have a probation period, and almost ever company in the states are at will employees/employers. Meaning neither party has to give notice. Unless it’s whistle blowing, any form of harassment, bullying, or other illegal conduct.
Why in the hell would you leave a credit card in a desk drawer? Folks who did dumb shit like that are just asking for trouble.
The drawer was locked and secured. He had to steal the key and search the desk to find the card.

How obnoxious can 1 guy be ,i would have fired him after the 3rd day !!!!
He just needs to be fired!
Hi
This is definitely entertaining although it’s a remake of another story in a different channel I think. I like the VA voices.
My dudes been there for 3 days and acts like the boss. If he really needed the job why did he act so badly?
If he was so good, then why does he not have his own company anymore? Red Flags.
What is obsceneceded claims? at 4:41 in... should it be "unsubstantiated"
Some people complain that the stories could not happen. Let me assure that this could have a generation or so ago.
D l
You miss your 1st day dont show up on the 2nd
What's up with this Mr. Johnson? I had nothing to do with this. Besides I am retired after working for over 40 years.
If you need the job that badly then pull your big kid pants and get to work . Don't make trouble and show you are a good worker. If you don't like the job then keep working until you can find something else
No wonder hes a new employee at 52. Hes been fired from a lot of jobs it seems to me due to this attitude.
Good story, Mr Johnson is a jerk
Bus trip? OP, it very clearly said “business” NOT bus. It’s pronounced “ES-cort” NOT “ec-sort”. This VA needs to work on pronunciation.
Very poor translation.
Bus trip? 🤪 VA needs to know how to pronounce certain words. 😛
