Easy decision if you mostly play slightly (or severely) older single player games! And also grew up with games you'd replay because you didn't have that many great games, haha.
I NEVER had any regret when i picked Charmander as my Starter Pokemon, in fact, he helped me get through alot of tough battles, especially when he was high enough leveled up to become Charizard and i always enjoyed using him to fight other trainer's pokemon, So Nope, no regrets for me.
I never regretted choosing my starter and some games actually have gyms that are weak to whatever starter you chose. In Sword and Shield, the first three Gyms are weak to the starters. You choose Grookey, you’re strong against the Water Gym. Scorbunny is strong against the Grass Gym. Sobble is strong against the Fire Gym. Really, choosing your starter is what you think is cool. And for me, all the starters are cool and I want to give each of them a chance.
Correction on #8. A hardened Alistair who is made King will not flee and become a drunk. He will just take up his station but sever ties with the party. Note, however, that if you sacrifice Loghain to destroy the Archdemon, Alistair more or less makes amends with the main character afterwards since he sees that you essentially made his worst enemy your sacrificial lamb as a means of penance for the Teryn's misdeeds while also making the public see him as a true hero. Also, if you want Alistair and Anora to marry each other, make those arrangements at Arl Eamon's estate and have your character succeed on a Persuasion check at the Landsmeet as well. You still lose Alistair, but Ferelden gains a new king with a consort.
When TWD the game first came out I chopped off his arm and now I'd do It every playthrough, just for the hope it might work(and how the rest of the game plays out)
i always choose to make Loghain a warden in my ideal playthrough of dragon age. he's not a bad guy and is doing his best with the information he has available. Howe is the snake that is poisoning everything for his own gain and i seriously doubt Ducan and the rest would have been left to die had Howe and Loghain not been war buddies. anyway, harden Alistair's personality so he'll still marry Anora. technically he does still leave the party and the friendship with the player sours, but he's still in the country so that's four wardens instead of three. refuse to go through with Morrigan's ritual out of spite for her bringing it up at the 11th hour. raise the relationship with Loghain so he sees the error of his path and have him willingly sacrifice himself to slay the arch demon so that he can die the war hero he deserves to be instead of fading into obscurity as a warden or having his name dragged through the mud for being manipulated by Howe. having him volunteer to deal the killing blow instead of forcing him to is a great redeeming moment for the character after all the BS he caused throughout the game.
. . . I'm sorry, did you play a different game? Howe is a spiteful puppet, but he's a puppet nonetheless, the only way he has any impact on the main story is if you chose Human Noble origin, because he then is responsible for killing almost your entire family (whom his family is long-time friends with), but there is no world where Loghain's decisions were in any way influenced by that slimy roach, Rendon Howe. Loghain betrayed the Grey Wardens and King Cailan because he was a wartime racist who thought accepting Orlesian help would open the doors for them annexing Ferelden, which is just incorrect on all fronts as you later find out. Howe is petty, but very small-minded, only focused on taking Highever from the Couslands, and Loghain's crimes are 100% his own, and he deserves to die disgraced for being such a stupid, bigoted asshole.
Tactically, in blue(the only pokemon game I've got any experience in), Charmander was my favorite simply because plant types were ten a penny in the early sections so by the time you're challenged by your rival and his Squirtle has any elemental attacks(read: the first rival battle where your choice actually matters), he sends out Squirtle, you can throw out a beefed-up Oddish or Bellsprout or whatever you've got and flatten him.
Hardest Video Game Decision In My Life was Between Fight Club, Capcom Fighting Jam, Galactic Wrestling Ultimate Muscle In 2006 should've chosen Capcom Fighting Jam honestly
In the last few pokemon games, hasn't your rival chosen what's weak to you? Now rivals aren't all "I hate you' and are more "I love fighting you, it's the best"
Yeah, the rivals in recent games always have a starter that is weak to yours, with Bianca being the first rival to have a starter weak to yours. Shauna from X and Y also uses the starter weak to yours, but Hau is the first true rival who uses the starter weak to yours, as Professor Kukui uses the starter strong against yours, Leon in Sword and Shield also uses the starter that is strong against yours, and Director Clavell in Scarlet and Violet follows suit. The rival choosing the starter weak to yours is to make the games easier.

There was a moral standpoint in Life is Strange where Kate Marsh was being interrogated by David. You could either intervene or take a photograph as evidence for later (not spoiling). Either way, Max would question herself, effectively giving you a guilt trip. IMO, should have been added.
I mean, it's not like you get the option to tell that vile person to come to you so you can tell him... then spit on him when he does to show what you think of him and the choice he lays out for you, right? Nor can you ask if one of them has a coin, mentally assign each buddy to a side, have the guy flip the coin and report the result, say something along the lines of "You've both been great friends and allies. If I really had my choice, we'd all three go free unharmed, but... that's not an option here. I can only hope that neither of you will hold this against me. Goodbye... ..." Optional regret, here, but in Xenoblade Chronicles, there's a sidequest in Colony 9 in which Monica is very interested in Erik... so much that she wants you to get a Tephra Drop for her so she can do some kind of thing with it that will override his feelings and make him get with her. Once this sidequest has been accepted, you can pick up another from Andreas, who wants you to bring *him* the Tephra Drop instead so he can do the same to her. Now, you might immediately, without thinking, decide that one option is as good as the other -- both are kind of skeevy, to be honest -- but consider that by giving the Tephra Drop to her, you're involving a guy who doesn't want to get involved with her. Whereas giving it to Andreas, well... Monica doesn't really have room to complain, now does she? Since, you know, she was willing to do it to someone else.
The only reason I didn't follow the Stormcloaks when I started Skyrim was because I was too panicked when the dragon was attacking, so I just followed the guy from the Empire because I was able to keep track of him easier in the chaos. For Mass Effect 2, I helped the Krogan because they are an honorable race and are a good ally to have to fight the Reapers. But in Mass Effect 3, I let the Geth finish off the Quarians because they're self centred and created the Geth to be slaves and then tried to kill them and all the Geth did was defend themselves. Geth only became a galaxy wide issue because they allowed themselves to be controlled by the reapers and that only happened because the Quarians did horrific things to them. So basically the Quarians don't deserve to live. Sorry Tali
I didn’t regret choosing my starter Jules. Some games in the Pokémon series have the first three major bosses be weak to whatever starter you pick. Sword and Shield is a prime example. No matter which starter you pick, you will be strong against one of the first three gyms. For me, in Sword, I picked Scorbunny as my starter, used Yamper as my second Pokemon and Wishiwashi as my third Pokemon, and I was able to breeze through the first three gyms because Fire, Electric and Water were strong against Grass, Water and Fire.
