For the firsts, you can take your infant to the park and get that first, take them on vacation and take them to a family members home. All of those are firsts as well.
There's also first time at daycare !

I really like how detailed they made the infant milestones but I am sad because toddlers, kids, teens, and elders only get just 3-5 new milestones…
I think that is because they want modders to create them more…
What perfect timing, I've been playing with an infant trying to get all the milestones before aging him up and I wasn't sure which ones I was missing

@@rileybrown4776 10-14 months for first word IRL. Only know cos have a toddler IRL 😂 I def did not know before 🙈
infants will start doing tummy time on their own when they roll over all the way. Practicing crawling really helps when getting ready to stand idk why
Cus it strengthens their legs! Most babies crawl before they can pull up
As a childcare worker who works with infants in IRL, infants work from head first so moving head , then arms hands, then back and stomach, then they start to crawl to move around then sit, standing is last because the need to build up thier muscles in the legs most baby learn to stand with help"sofa,raling at around 8-14 months on avrage (earliest is at 6 months), walking 12 months to 18 months" (earliest 9 months) i was shocked when they didn't let infants have first steps milestone like where they can walk freely a bit.
I've very upset that milestones are behind a pay wall. I want my memories through my sims life
yeah, I kind of get it for infant milestones because they're a bit more in depth, but definitely the memory style milestones should have been base game

*I am very upset because the expansion called GROWING TOGETHER but it mostly only focus on Infants!*
it has a lot nice milestones for infants but maybe only 5 for tots, kids and teens and maybe just 1-2 for elders. (Like come on no milestone for having a grandkid or a best friend or any school related?) Actually the “milestones” for me are just some weird achievements instead of new memories or actual milestones (like when we have one we could take a photo at least and put it in an album or anything)

Oh man, I have been googling for this info and read a bunch of different "complete" lists of infant milestones... and none of them are the same! This is definitely the most comprehensive list I've found, so thanks for sharing!

Yes, real infants can creep. My little 1yr old friend creeped and rolled before they learned to sit up. 😍 So cute.
I remember one of my cousins would like pull themselves along the ground instead of crawling. Is that like what creeping is?

My sim got the stand up milestone like 10 times because it wasn’t counting because he hadn’t learned how to sit up yet

I didn't know infants can say their first word...I only focused on the motor skills.
Now that's something else I got to work on with my next infants lol
My infant got the grab to pull milestone in her crib, I had no idea that was a thing before then
I also just got a learned to wave milestone for my infant
The standing thing works with all chairs or couches as long as they’re not blocked, not only couches, just to clarify.

There's a few extra milestones I feel like nobody really knows how many milestones are actually are and we can't really find it on Google. Thank you for showing me the basics.
Yes I found this very helpful. I tried everything to get my infant to crawl & he wouldn’t….and this is after we pretty exhausted tummy time. I guess I just have to play around w/ it more. Thanks for sharing ❤

Lol i Never had more than „learned to babble“ in Social 😂 but everytime it was so close to get all motoric milestones at the 5th day … its tooooo short to really enjoy it
yeah I think it takes too long to get the milestones to really make sense even for normal lifespan

@@SimberPlays MCCC is already updated to growing together. You can change every lifespan but infants are not included :( Maybe 8 days for infants? I mean they are 80% sleeping 😂

Something that helps you get the reach milestone is the playmat and the look at toys interaction. (That's how all my infants get that milestone.)
This is super helpful. I didn't know about all of them. I was disappointed with the baby food system in the pack. A couple of times it has erased all my sim's progress with the foods that infant has tried. Another time, it glitched and gave me reactions to every food at once. You had said in another video that apparently this has no influence on them as toddlers which I think is not great. I wish they had made it more complicated and fleshed out, like for example if your sim really hates a food they might hate it all through their life. Or other sims might be more adventurous with foods etc. Just a heads up for folks, I brought my infant to a park and got a first from that. I tried the rec centre and the splash pad area and did not get a first from those.
My infant learned to stand in the crib
Oh nice! Did they practice standing on their own or how did that work?
@@SimberPlays I was teaching the infant to stand then the infant was at a point where the infant wanted to nap so I put her in the crib then she just grabbed the rail and stood up
@@SimberPlays I had more trouble getting her to crawl then to stand up all my visitors just wanted to yap as I was teaching her
@@leesullivan8532 oh cool! I've had stuff like that happen too, it sometimes seems to take a while before they actually get the milestone, but it's actually kind of realistic!
It would be great if they weren't broken, my children turned into adults and forgot all of their milestone from when they were teenagers to babys, so that's great.
The stand milestone can also be completed in the crib. My sim was pissing while he infant was having a fit and she pulled herself up in her crib, so they can also learn it by being left in the crib 😭

I always play on short lifespan so this is really nice to live vicariously cause I'll never unlock them all😂
i've gotten literally all of these except "learn to dance," mainly because i knew it was also a toddler milestone. i didn't even know they could stand up, since repeatedly practicing standing with my infant didn't really seem to do anything.
yeah unfortunately they seem to only be able to get the standing milestone with a couch or when in their crib, because they have to pull to stand. I don't think it's very well done
@@SimberPlays even with the couch i've never gotten it, strangely enough.

I think its kinda random cause I had my sims practice standing with the infant quite a few times but nothing happened. So I had my sim put the infant down to play.
Then she crawled over to a chair and stood up.
So I don't think infants can achieve the milestone when being held by another sim.

There is just sooo many milestones, im not sure how long I want my infant in that stage and this is coming from a simmer that disabled her aging because I like long lifespans, plus after the infant stage, still got toddlers to deal with 😂😂
haha yeah it takes a long time to get them all! It took me a full sim week and two irl hours even with cheating their needs and knowing what I needed to do
Kinda weird but my first infant whom I choose Calm as her trait had a harder time to unlock milestones than her sister whom I choose Wiggly as her trait.
The Firstborn took almost 4 weeks to complete every milestones while her sister took only two weeks and the parents didn't interact with her much too compared to the firstborn.
There's a milestone for visiting the park or going to a family members if I remember right
When the update came out I tried to do it to my regular household but the game wouldn't let my sims get pregnant; even the npcs. So to experience the infants a week after the update I created a new save file. I wanted to see what occult infants looked like so I created 1 male werewolf, and a female mermaid, vampire, human, sorcerer, and alien. And of course I had to go extreme with the babies. I used MCCC and set it to 6 and however amount they had they had. I ended up with 16 infants in the small starter that lilsimsie built for the new world. Once they were toddlers I ended up downloading a rec center and using that to gain skills in short life stage. But I find it funny that bc of how they grew up they have unhappy infant reward trait. As for glitches I was friends with the shift button bc I kept having to reset them since the infants would latch onto the parents legs instead of the mat and be dragged along everywhere. They would also phase through the floor so you can see them on the ceiling downstairs and not upstairs on their mat where they belong. But those were the largest glitches nothing monsterous and way less then I expected; I thought this pack/update would be a glitchtastic mess.
Also they were born in the hospital so they have that milestone and first fire milestone in toddlers since my occults can't cook- I don't know if infants can have that one since no fire occurred during that time.
Youve been struggling with sims pregnancies too?? My sims can get pregnant but the pregnancies dont progress and i cannot figure out what to do

"lots of lots of tummy time" idk man, one of my infants is wiggly (prob has an effect on it bc i have 1 (2) calm infants and they learn stuff slower) but at the 2nd tummy time she learned to lift head :33
Finger foods are a bit different than the baby foods! An adult has to give them their first bite, but then they can walk away and the infant will keep eating.
I like to try to get my sims to eat meals as a family which is so hard lol. With infants, I have all the food plates out in front of my sims, all seated. I have a parent give a kid finger food, then go sit down. Once they’re sat I let everyone else start eating, and the infant will keep eating the finger foods on their own ☺️☺️
Mine can pull to stand on their own but the option to Practice Standing is still there. That confuses me.
Its so true that sims 4 is a micro manegment simukator i cannot imagine coaching ur som thru being ablw 2 lift its head befpre having robbers in any other game
the superman glitch happens whenever they play with a toy and then they crawl. if you aren't into that you have to reset them.
it is very cute and kind of hilarious that it happened while my infant was playing with a superhero doll lol
I always find i dont have enough time to get them all. My baby sims are always tired😂
you need something for them to pull themselves up on they will say they are reaching a milestone but then not be able to do it because there is nothing to pull up on it

My infant frequently go to daycare, but I didn't get the milestone
@@nathanneoo Did they go as a newborn? Thats the only thing I can think of. One of my families always hired a nanny then as an infant she went to daycare and got the milestone. One family always sent them to daycare since day 1 and he did not get the milestone as an infant
@@pixeldaddiettv ow maybe that's why. My Sims broke and didn't have house, so we have to go to rec center, and the baby go to daycare as new born
My milestones don’t show I click on simoligy and there not there
Imagine the 100 baby challenge but each baby must reach all the milestones... that sounds like a nightmare. Haha.

@@SimberPlays i like the new infant backpack but its annoying xD like your jogging with your infant but when you finished that you cant start any other task, they are standing around waiting for the matrix or something like that 😂
There is also the first family visitor and first travel time
how do you get visitors? i always invite my sims friends over and it doesn’t pop up
@@jas.leanna2 You can get it if your infant talk to the visitor. (I got it this way).
If my save files would stop getting corrupted after the update my infants could actually reach all of theirs 🙁

I got all milestones except the dancing one, my infant gets the can't move icon no matter where they are :/
Oh that's strange! Maybe you could try a different radio or something?
no idea how to get the dance milestone. mine doesn't even have the "wiggle to music" option
hmm are they able to sit up? I think they have to be able to sit up first, but maybe it also requires a fine motor milestone or something?

Yeah it's really hard to complete on short or medium lifespan! You could try turning aging off while you get the milestones but that's annoying to have to do
How did you get the pee on caregiver milestone? Is it only set for boys?
i don't think so. I'm not sure but I would try changing their diaper while they have to pee. May be more likely to get it if they're an open air tinkler too which is a quirk
It’s not only for boys honestly it seems to just happen randomly. My sims never had to pee while they achieved it
No, all babies can pee on caregiver not just boys and it seems to just be a random occurrence when getting diaper changed on the changing table
That wouldn't make sense. All kids pee on care givers. Source: My sister peed all over me when she was 2 months old..
No my girl infant peed on a sim.
It's more likely to happen if they have the "tinkler" quirk.

It depends on what length you have life stages set to. You might have aging off, but you can make them age up by baking a cake and then putting birthday candles in it. An adult can help the infant blow out their candles and they'll become a toddler

yeah those are firsts I haven't gotten! I usually don't take my infants out of the house lol but it is cool you can get a first for that
@@SimberPlays I disabled my need decay so I can get all 35 milestones. Right now I’m struggling with crawl and standing 😭😭 I’m playing on long lifespan.
@@ginakim7699 Yeah I kept cheating my needs and still had a really hard time. Make sure you have a couch so they can get the standing milestone!
I really wish there were a way to cheat the milestones. Also, in real life there are ways to do tummy time that won’t upset your baby so I don’t like how they didn’t put that in the game
Me too. Maybe modders will figure out a way to cheat it, and I agree about tummy time

You just get it from talking after they have learned to babble. Have them babble at sims or stuffed animals

it has a lot nice milestones for infants that would be ok if BGC players could get 1-2 infant skill to teach like teach to walk or talk so they could do something with the babies.

to be fair it doesn't make that much of a difference whether you get them all or not. Maybe you could try again with another infant!
