But indeed you are definitely right. Teams catching up to them. Which is good. It gives competition. Many korean teams were too slow to adapt new playstyles. They used to play these 5v5 comps which started rolling after 30min. The current meta is about the first 15min. That fits pretty well for some lec or chinese teams and let Korea look old.

Nemesis has this playstyle actually he even roams more then Caps. That yasuo game was exception tho
The transfer is a good thing for both teams. Caps qualities fit way more into the G2 mindset while FNC looked for a midlaner like Nemesis who can act like a captain.

@@io1921 Another meta, and another chemistry between players. This year Perkz and Caps doesn't see in good terms, and the Dragon meta changes a lot the power of the adcs. Perkz can't do this with a Senna, because Xayah or Kaisa have enough tools to escape in a dangerous situation.
But, I remember G2 didn't look this good BEFORE the Worlds. They just started playing like this after the 1st week. So I'm waiting for Worlds.

DWN was overhyped imo.
I think people overlook their inexperience and this series exposed that flaw. Outside of Game 4, they looked lost. And disrespected G2 too many times, especially Nuguri.
It's obvious from the previous quarters that the teams with more experience have the best chance at winning.
(Except for FNC who were shit tbh)

Atleast the meta was different and not only: Graves, Nida or Lillia. I miss Perkz Xayah, a few minutes Sidelane-farming and he was a Beast or a splitpush-thread. But this world, idk, botlane only got 4 Adcs: Senna, Ashe, Jhin and Ez and Midlane hasnt got so many different Champs, TF, Lucian, Galio, Syndra mostly. Only Toplane got more Champs
