- Water Colour Painting in Brecon Beacons Wales. This canal is in the area of Talybont-on-Usk, Llanfrynach just a few miles east of the town of Brecon. I sketched in ink from a canal bridge. As it was getting dark I, I later used the reference photo I took to help me finish off the painting back at my studio.
