    Hello Tino,
This is a great explanation of your anchoring system. Thank you for trusting the LOFRANS’s Cayman windlass for your anchoring needs.
    Best Regards,
    LOFRANS Team.

    Thank you Tino!
I enjoyed the video and, as usual, I once again learned numerous new things about my boat.
I also like the random unrelated video as it gives us a chance to get a glimpse of details that are similar, or different, than our own boats.

Hi Tino, many thanks for the Movie and this is very helpful for me to install an electric winch. It's planed from myside to do it in die winter time.

Hi Tino, I liked the explanation of your windlass system, thank you for sharing. You might not want to attach the end of your anchor chain directly to the windlass shelf - my understanding is that it is best practice to splice some rope to your chain and then attach the rope to your windlass shelf. This is so you can cut the line if you foul your anchor and need to leave in an emergency.

Good the show this anchor and your windlass (eletric winch) , but , I would like to see windlass function in a anchor up and down the anchor...

Thank you Tino !!! On our Bavaria I mounted a protection for the electric cables underneath the Cayman in order to have a smooth and safer current feed of the engine.

    Hi Tino!
    Wonderful video again.👍
As far as I know, port side of your windlass is for rope types, while starboard side is for chains.?

Nice tour around your anchor locker! What technique do you use to avoid the anchor hitting the stem of the boat when bringing it up in a big swell? I use a long handled brush to try and stop it swinging around as it comes up!

Thanks for the anchor tour. I wonder what model and year your Bavaria is ? Greeting from New Zealand
