Brassicas Bed Preparation

  • Brassicas are a family of plants that include cauliflower, broccoli, sprouts, cabbage and more. They all have similar preferences to bed preparation and suffer from slugs and cabbage white butterfly laying eggs. These eggs hatch into caterpillars which eat the plants. In this video I show how I set up the beds and enclosure to protect the plants as much as possible.

    I really need to do this on my hoops to keep it all neat. Cabbage Whites are persistamt pests so your diligence is good advice

    💪💪 beer good slugs bad 😂 I just have to keep slipping Gerald’s beer 🍺 past him 🤭🤭. It’s go time loads to get ready but hopefully it’s all good time too. Happy Easter 🐣 to all have a fab week Jase, Ali 🌞🐣🇨🇦

    I find snails are my problem , they managed to get into my raised bed /Greenhouse & ate my Broc seedlings 😮 😢

      Hi Lorriane. oh no. Check under the pots/trays and stagging in the greenhouse. They hide in the day and come out at night and eat your plants.
