I'm glad they are not dragging it out. Every season has gotten better but I would hate to see them stretch it and lose it's quality. What I am hoping is that they go on and do a new adaptation of Treasure Island. I would love to see Billy, Gunn and Silver as old men not to mention Israel Hands, Jim Hawkins and the rest of that fantastic book.

Put in the effort like this and you get a truly SPECTACTULAR show that stands the test of time long after Antman Quantumania's entirely CGI production has eroded into obscurity. Starz - please create another show like Black Sails with the same production team. It could be about Ancient Rome, Sparta, Egypt, or even a remake of Sharpe. Whatever it is, no matter the story, the Starz production team for Black Sails is 1,000,000 times better than every CGI disaster produced by hollywood these days, and audiences everywhere are crying out for real, authentic environments like Nassau. See the critical reception to Star Wars' ANDOR, which actually built the entire town as a film set. As a result, with minimal CGI, the production value and the value we get as an audience is through the roof (and it helps that it's real roof not a CGI one)!. Please learn from Black Sails and Andor, and start creating incredibly immersive, REAL shows like this again. Thanks for reading.
I really wish they had done a full length documentary of the "making of" of this amazing historical show. Definitely my fav historic tv show of all time!
no viewer in the U.S. for some reason... average good shows have at least 2-3 million viewers per episode, great shows (like game of thrones) have 7-8 millions and our bellowed Black Sails (that i'd trade for GoT in a bit) has only 0.7 mill viewers... no viewers =no money = no expensive sets and big ships = no sex on the beach after filming = NO Season 5! ~~\ˇ^#%$&)=(˛˛°°=?˘˘^^*?=˝˝¸¸¸¸¸#(/%&$$# bummer
