- Even the servants are content with you, and so is the Almighty.
"Qurban tujh pe gardish-e-lail-o-nahaar bhi"
- Day and night revolve around you,
"Qabzay mein mai-parast bhi taa'at guzaar bhi"
- Both the intoxicated and the devout are under your influence.
"Fazl-e-Khuda se dono jagah ehtiram hai"
- In both realms, there is reverence due to God's grace,
"Saqi tu maikade mein, haram mein imam hai"
- You are the cupbearer in the Bar and the leader in the Kaaba.
"Ay saqi-e-maikhana bhar de mera paimana"
- O Cupbearer, fill my goblet,
"Ghanghor ghata hai ya udta hua maikhana"
- Whether there are dark clouds or a soaring tavern.
"Barsaat ki hawa-e-moattar ka wasta"
- By the fragrant breeze of the rain,
"Maikhana khol Saqi-e-Kaosar (S.AW.W) ka wasta"
- Open the tavern, for the sake of the Cupbearer of Kaosar (Prophet Muhammad).

"Misl-e-gul-e-bahisht-e-moattar ho wo sharab"
- Like the fragrant rose of paradise is that wine.

- Accepted in the presence of the Prophet (peace be upon him) is that wine,
