Thank you so much for your time in teaching us how to make Scrabbies. I am making them for my friends and extended family for Christmas along with my knitted dish cloths.🎄🎄
Thank you...for this straightforward, uncomplicated tutorial. I have been searching everywhere for instructions for a double-sided scrubbie. Definitely saving this one!
Thanks Carla. Sewing two sides together is like sewing!!! LoL I do not like to sew. These work up pretty quick...and no worrying about if the stitches will match. I like easy!! Thanks for dropping by.
Thank You SO MUCH for this tutorial. You went slow enough for me to follow easily and I'm an advanced beginner. But with a new project it sure helped. 😊😊
I am glad....and I am also into the simple. I will leave the complex stuff to other people.... These things were so quick to make. I think it took all of 15 minutes. It took me longer to explain it. LOL
Thank you April...I just so hate to sew. And April if it is okay with you I want to put you on my list for a Shout Out next week. I think you are doing a lot of work on your site....and people should see it.
I leave the hole in the middle because I put up a small plastic command hook on the wall above the sink and I hang it by the hole in the middle and it can dry well.
I haven't made them this way and thought this might work but glad to know it does. Saved me from having to frog, I don't think that would frog well, lol
Thank you for this pattern. I've been searching for it since a customer of mine asked for it. It took me a while to find exactly what she has, now I can deliver! Is it available in print too?
OHHH I so hate to sew. So when I look at patterns, I am always looking for ways to NOT sew things together. These little things turned out really thick and are so easy to make. Your family will like them...my hubbie does!!
Yes you could. depends on the netting that you get. If it is already cut in 2 or 3 in strips then follow the hook size recommended; probably an L. I would say the Yarn Bee is better in scrub ability. When it is worked up into the scrubber it is nice and solid. The yarn itself is 100% nylon, but it is tubular in nature, so easier to work with than the netting. I hope that helps.
@@TheCrochetNurse Thank you for the easy pattern, Once i mastered went to town making scrubbers. The red yarn with Yarn Bee is awful hard to use. I switched to white and aqua and just love them. The red has no giving that i found. Thank you again for helping me master these. My son said you made that while i was talking to you -about 15 minutes . Said sure did now go home and use it.
@@jeannettegagnon5039 some colors seem to pick up more dye than others and get course....that yarn is rough enough!! Cute story....now he can keep things clean!!
hey Sheila how are you? I love this tutorial . I do a craft hour in the the mornings. I really want to do this and share it with everyone. be blessed -Dana
Hey Dana, how are you! I have seen your craft hour, not during the live, but as a replay. I enjoy your interactions with folks. Brave and tons of energy doing all of those lives. Sure you can show folks this process on a live. Please refer them back to the channel for further assist. Sheila
Please show what you did with the yarn after weaving it through. You turned it over without showing how you cut the yarn as there was still a tail there. In other words, how did you cut it. Thank you.
Crochet Nurse you did a video of a square scrubby requested by your husband. I've looked everywhere to try and find it again I can't find it. HELP! I WANT TO MAKE AS CHRISTMAS GIFTS.
This is a tutorial for experienced crocheters who want to make their first two sided scrubby but it is not a tutorial for beginning crocheters, Way too complicated. I am a beginning crocheter who tried.
My husband has become the dish washer, he know I'd the DW is clean, dirty, or needs unloaded, he also shops for the grocery store . Now. It has not always been this way. Life transition as we age.
I'm not a fan of this one. I actually like the Creative Grandma one better because it looks prettier, and is so much more easier to make even though you make two and stitch them together...the edge also looks so much prettier too. This is a good beginner one for those who dont want to make two of them and do that, but I prefer the look of the creative Grandma's much better.

I found the yarn today at Hobby Lobby. Came across your video, and made my very 1st scrubbie. Thank you.
Great tutorial, I like how you made a 2 sided scrubbie without having to sew two separate pieces together. Thank you!
Thanks Carla. Sewing two sides together is like sewing!!! LoL I do not like to sew. These work up pretty quick...and no worrying about if the stitches will match. I like easy!! Thanks for dropping by.
Can’t wait to get the yarn and get started!
Just found this video after watching way too many. This will be my go to for sure. Thanks..excellent quality.
You are welcome. These are super fun and easy to make.

This was so easy to follow. Thank you 😊
This is the Best video I have found! Really shows you how to do it!
Happy to help.
I would like to make smaller scrubbies also. Would i still start with 5 chains, then could I reduce to 6 or 7 double crochet when starting?
Excellent tutorial--Great directions and very easy to understand. Thank you for sharing!
You're very welcome!
Great teacher
Do you have a written direction for this wonderful scrubbie? I've made many, but this is the best.
Hi Sheila love your tutorial very clear and easy to follow for any beginner crotcher 🤗😃🥰💗🧶🙋♀️🇦🇺

I really like this one so much. It's well explained when doing the pattern
Thank you
I like how you made the scrubbie one piece, nice job!

Love this tutorial, thank you.....
You are so welcome! I am glad that you liked it.
Thank you for this pattern and great instructions. Appreciate it so much.
Glad it was helpful!
A great basic pattern, thank you!
It certainly is. The big stuff is nice, but I like to make functional items quite a bit.
I haven't made them this way and thought this might work but glad to know it does. Saved me from having to frog, I don't think that would frog well, lol
It does not frog well at all.
So happy I found this channel new here and enjoy watching. Stay bless!!!
Thanks and welcome! I am so glad that you found me as well. I hope you find items that you like.
Hi Sheila! Great tutorial! Thanks for sharing.🤗🥰
Thanks for watching!
Awesome tutorial🤗
I like making smaller projects it gives a quicker sense of accomplishment.
@@TheCrochetNurse I know what you mean. I'm working on 4 projects 2 are smaller, faster to finish.
This is beautiful yarn and hobby lobby Carry's it better then that net
What a snapping Turquoise color! Just because I simply go back and forth , does not mean that I can not appreciate the door dads!
So True.
Do you have a written direction for this wonderful scrubbie?I've made many, but this is the best. I had my email wrong.
This is so much better

I love this little scrubby. I'm thinking I'll make scrubber pads for the family..... Yay no sewing.

Can I used a j/10-6.00MM hook for this project? Blair
Hi Good video.
Can you buy this pattern
I am excited to try this but wanted to ask can i use a magic circle and would i just put 10 dc into the circle? Thanks so much 😊
Yes you can
Thank you, I have been looking for this easy tutorial! ❤ 19:17 I want to subscribe but don’t know where.
Is there a written pattern, to save for reference?
I also would like a written pattern.
I’m also looking for a written pattern . The video was so helpful!
Yes!! Best video so far, but it would be great to have a written pattern, as I believe it helps the less experienced learn how to read patterns…
How many scrubby can you get out of one ball of yarn?
Can you use Red Heart Super Saver for this?
Yeah but it will not have a lot of scrubbing action
Where can I find a written pattern?
I'd love a written pattern as well.
Thank you
Can you use nylon netting for this? Any special instructions? Is it similar to the yarn in scrubability?
Yes you could. depends on the netting that you get. If it is already cut in 2 or 3 in strips then follow the hook size recommended; probably an L.
I would say the Yarn Bee is better in scrub ability. When it is worked up into the scrubber it is nice and solid. The yarn itself is 100% nylon, but it is tubular in nature, so easier to work with than the netting.

You are more than welcome.😉😀
Can you make them with sugar and cream yarn?
Yes you sure can. They will be smaller, but you definitely can use this pattern with that yarn.

Please tell me what kind of material and where can I get it. Thanks !
Hi there! The yarn is from Hobby Lobby. The brand is Scrubology. You can find it near the cotton yarn. Hope that helps.
Thanks very much for the information !
How many scrubbies can you get from one skein?
Four
Please show what you did with the yarn after weaving it through. You turned it over without showing how you cut the yarn as there was still a tail there. In other words, how did you cut it. Thank you.
I did a normal cut and then kept weaving the yarn in and out of the back until I had a short piece. The final short piece I left in the center.
Yes yes💖💖💖💖 Thank you🙏🙏🙏🙏
You are welcome. I found that I could make 4 scrubbies with one skein of that yarn. So that is a good bargain.
Crochet Nurse you did a video of a square scrubby requested by your husband. I've looked everywhere to try and find it again I can't find it. HELP! I WANT TO MAKE AS CHRISTMAS GIFTS.
Great and easy thank you 🌻
Quick and easy....I like both. 😉
Hi Benny
Why not use a magic circle? It's easier...
Isn't it just a waste of yarn to do double sided when you make a single side it's a scrubby on both sides.
This is a tutorial for experienced crocheters who want to make their first two sided scrubby but it is not a tutorial for beginning crocheters, Way too complicated. I am a beginning crocheter who tried.

It has been a great ride has it not. We have had similar changes in our house hold.
