      should the answer of number 4 be B - subsequent boundaries? because of different ethnic groups

      @@aerialwhen9559 i think its supposed to be E because the new boundaries are separating the conflicting ethnicities that lived in Yugoslavi

      @@laddybug3352 yeah... that's what I thought too. Those boundaries no longer exist, however, teh question is talking about the NEW boundaries

    Wouldnt Yugoslavia be a better example of consequent boundaries rather than reloc boundaries?

    • @aaronparr7264
      @aaronparr7264 3 ปีที่แล้ว +32

      I noticed this too, and I really can’t imagine this answer not being a typo.
      Almost every type of boundary fits Yugoslavia better than a relic boundary, and consequent or subsequent is a much better explanation too.

    Hi Mr. Sinn! I find your videos very helpful as they cover information I have either forgotten or wasn't covered in the textbook. However, can you elaborate the differences between subsequent and consequent boundaries? I'm confused on how to differentiate them.

      yea same, im still confused too

    • @seanr6443
      @seanr6443 3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      i was confused at first too but after research i understood...
      Subsequent boundaries are established after the settlement in an area. It changes as the cultural landscape changes and is drawn to accommodate developments due to a certain event, such as a war (www.arcgis.com/apps/MapJournal/index.html?appid=fc2ad2922d3f47d7926d618249fccca0#). On the other hand, consequent boundaries separate cultural or ethnic groups who were at odds with one another (my knowledge from mr sinn).

    why wouldn't #4 be B? New borders were created based upon ethnic differences

    I love your efforts, i watch them dedicatedly learn complex bookish things in short with much clarity.
    Don't want to comment on Pak side ,but being an Indian ,example of consequential boundary contains misinformation about India...
    India is secular nation, and even we have more Muslim than in Pakistan.
    Not only that our minority has increased steadily throughout our journey yet, which is unlike the scenario in Pak
