  • The shoe-shine sponge turns shoes into sticky dust magnets as we can see on this pair my wife has just bought second hand on Vinted.
Some shoe cleaning tips and some technical aspects of high heeled footwear I've picked up working for the Riviera del Brenta shoemaking district.

Who would have believed a video about shoes can be so interesting...? You know a lot of things on the subject, never thought of them before. Anyway, I'm rather happy after this video, "Polish this, polish that..." - simply because I have a little Polish blood (maternal grand-grandfather was a Pole, a forest ranger, not a telegraph...). Good day, Patrick, thanks for another transporting device video!

@@Cristake1974 the shoemaking sector is a fascinating one, from opinci to hobnailed boots all the way to stiletto heels.
My Scottish grandfather's older sister married a Pole, an opera singer, their common language was Italian. It's an interesting story, I'll have make a dedicated video.
I've heard of the Polish minority in Romania, the two countries used to share a border before WW2 messed everything up. Polish army and air force units sought refuge in Romania in 1939 and were allowed to move to France to continue the fight. The Romanian air force kept their Pzl fighter planes.

@@patricksmodels Your knowledge is impressing and very diverse, I think you will make an excellent touristic guide or, I don't know, a guide in some technical museum or such. The sense of humour would make also a difference from a "good guide" to an "excellent guide".

@@Cristake1974 Thanks, my job brings me in contact with many different subjects, this afternoon I had three different students online, a nautical designer from Turin, a primary school teacher from Vicenza and a furniture designer from Padova...no risk of getting bored, even if my brain is like scrambled eggs at the moment 😂
