He knew that people loved seeing his chubby belly and he perceived himself as "being fat is the thing that people love about me" so he had no problem making fun of himself or his body, to the point where that fucked him up mentally. Jersey Jerry revealed something disturbing about his past few episodes ago and it was well received. In this episode he is again, chasing the same reaction by revealing another dark secret. And this is also well received. In 10 episodes Jersey Jerry will straight up give us coordinates to Jimmy Hoffa's grave revealing that he killed him, or something.
