Skoda Octavia is the clear winner 👍🏻
And it is the primium luxury sedan...like audi a3 and cla too.

Elantra is indeed the optimum choice cause it ticks most boxes like looks, interior quality, features, refined engines, safety kit, resale and after sales service .Both the other cars though good in their way lacks one or the other .... Personally if i had to follow my heart, i would go for Ocatvia just for the performance....

We are just proud to be an owner of the Octavia 1.8 tsi 2017.
We looked at all the cars in the segment before we came to the conclusion with the Skoda.
Both the altis and the elantra are good on their standpoint but non of them can even come close to the Octavia in terms of its outright performance build quality luxury and the ride and handling. Octavia is so much superior to those two cars. The 7speed DSG is is a gem. The way it puts the power down to the wheels is incomparable. I know the 7 speed DSG issues. but not heard of any failure in the new cars after 2015. But too come on I would take that as a price to pay for the pleasure and smile this car manages to give while you are driving it. Anyway Skoda will replace the DSG for you without any charge. So that’s nothing much to worry about.
After getting in and out of all the three cars back to back while test drive nothing of the other two cars give the premium feel to the car like you get in the Octavia. Altis should just be tossed out if you are looking for a premium and an great drivers car. Elantra is far better then its predecessor it does handle better but not as well as the Octavia.
People say the 3 seconds difference for the 0 to 100 doesn’t matter much but once you need to get off the spot and overtake that 3 seconds matter a lot. Quick 0 to 100 means more initial pickup. The moment you put your right foot to the floor all the 180 horses kicks you back to the seat and the car just destroys the other two cars.
For a note service of Skoda has improved by miles. And the car is not soo costly to maintain too like you people brag about.
The cost for 15000/1year service is ₹ 8257 for the Petrol automatic that is not too much of the premium car.
Overall I am very happy with my decision and I love my Octavia!! Peace....

we had an octavia, and also had some problems with there dealer while Service, but my brother directly complained to the company customer care and in an instant the dealer himself came to the service area and apologized, in fact he requested us not to complain directly to there company instead contact him in case of any issue. But as far add the car is concerned, it's a pleasure to drive and none comes close to the build quality of Skoda in this segment.
Octavia is the best, as i believe that safety of the occupants should be the no.1 priority rather than resale price.
Altis was the first to offer LED headlamps back in 2014...Where as others offered HID.. pls. Do a fact check. Good review. Nice one.

Bro u missed some points in Octavia-
1. U can store things in front storage board.
2.u can control the rooftop with a single regulator.
3.u can park the car handsfree.
4. There is a headlight washer in both the sides.
5. There interior lightning u can adjust.
6. Regarding the safety features, there r 8 airbags.
U r right it's best.

The only car worth buying in this segment, in my opinion, is the Octavia. The Honda City more or less matches the altis (while offering extra features for less!). The Verna, except for the rear seat space looks very similar to and has most features of the Elantra. The Octavia has a class leading engine and features not found in cars a segment lower, and is the only car worth the premium

You have said what even we were thinking. Just that Octy vRS can be modified further, it has a better suspension set-up too, for taking in more power.

If you want drivers car which is simply for enthusiastic than only and only octavia 1.8 tsi and jetta 2.0 tdi but one who is interested to buy luxury sedan but wants value for money product than the Corolla Altis petrol is the clear shoot out agreed it doesn't offers too many features like elantra but it has a bullet proof reliability and excellent after sales service and excellent decent ride and handling quality. Its much much better than elantra. And it's a roomier and comfortable cabin than elantra. And one who buys the luxury sedan will definitely expect the better space and comfort

Rajat Sharma I agree with u my frnd but then come other v. important factors like cost of maintenance, service, brand and resale value? agree? and also it's large tunnel which reduces space for rear passengers also can't be ignored.
Change- It's time if you looking for these my things in a 25 lakhs range car.. then you looking for wrong product. You should buy a car pricing between 5-6lakhs (hatchbacks) which definitely fullfill you expectations.
