Don't bleach it...never!!! My personal experience says it's very hard to manage and if you don't take care you will be left with dry n frizzy hair. I chopped my hair just for that☹️
I have have tried the one with lemon, I really hope it works! I will update this tomorrow. Hope it works Update: it worked! I am so happy with the results! 5 stars (I am a brunette so I did not think it would work but It actually did!) Definitely recommend Edit: 3 months later and I am now doing the same one again but I want it more vibrant so I will be putting more lemon juice in it! Edit: it's not morning yet but I can see the lighting coming up! I also have some tips to make yours easier! -use alot of lemon juice! -dont use coconut oil unless you have dry hair. My hair gets greasy so I dont reccomend. -put all of the product in your hair. If there is any left keep going over it. -make sure to not miss out on your roots. -have a bath! I know it sounds weird but the heat from my bath does the same thing as the sun in my opinion and its handy if you dont get alot sun where you live! - when you wash it make sure to put conditioner in it! This makes sure it doesnt get dry! The one I recommend if called - *L'oreal Paris*dream lengths* it's really good if you like soft fluffy hair and it if great for this! Just remember you dont need to use to much of it. -let it air dry! Wrap it up in a towel for 1-2 hours! It's better! -you should spray it with some sort of hair product! I use the *Maui Bamboo Fibers Blow out mist* If it doesn't work the first time mabye go over it again the next day. If it is not working after that mabye your hair just doesn't like it so dont reck your hair by putting too much lemon juice! I hope these tips helped! 🥺💕

Maria Amrin it fades out with washes if it didn’t disappear in the first wash. the chemicals in shampoo are stronger than the natural agents they’re using.

You’ve got to do it a couple of times a week possibly to see results...I’ve just tried it and I’ve got really dark brown thick hair and it hasn’t rlly shown up so maybe try to either leave it on longer and do it more often

For the food colouring one, I have some light brown (bleach left for less time) (previously coloured) and I tried it twice: First time, a lot of pink gel food colouring in some conditioner, applied it, left for 30 minutes, washed off and it just really lightly tinted some stands. Second time, I put in more half a bottle of gel food colouring and some of liquid food colouring in condition. This time I added some vinegar as well and left for an hour, again lightly tinted strands

If anyone is using cinnamon method also add 2tbs of honey and 1tbs of lemon, keep it overnight and you'll see such a beautiful lightened color.
