I can't believe that the detailed car stats were removed! 😞 For car guys like myself, I like seeing the power, weight, and other detailed stats in the UI...
I didn't know about this color filter on the consoles, i'll try to see never played on the xbox and the informations when shifting the car was awesome, anyway thanks!
Thank god they removed the bloom from the 2010 version, bloom woulf make it look worse even tho alot of games at that time had bloom and it was kinda "the bloom era" at those times.
There's two separate mods, there's Olanov's moods rework which makes the game much brighter and he has improved various moods in the game th-cam.com/video/dGhsFZpjP9Y/w-d-xo.html . And someone's made the lighting the same as the console versions www.nexusmods.com/driversanfrancisco/mods/6
@@zank8470 it better be a mustang GT or Challenger RT, although the classics are more fun and have better aesthetics. I would rather play new Driver game set in the 70s tbh when cars had big v8 engines.
Yeah FYI with the color, they changed the challenger's color to School Bus Yellow from lemon twist, they did that on the mustangs in the original gone in 60 seconds and on the TV show nash bridges with their 71 cuda, as its cheaper and shows up better, and you can find it just about anywhere, and actually nash bridges TOOK Place in SF too now that I think about it, and their was also a film that came out that featured the challenger in yellow and black called the bucket list in 2007, and the car did the rounds and actually started showing up on NCIS, a then popular tv show around this time, so it might have been changed to avoid it looking too similar. hence why the striping is non production and doesnt line up with how they did that back then, also the car seems to have had its model improved, like the car seems less flat, more definined and the shaker hood seems to have been remodled to be closer to its real life counter part, as in the earlier shots it actually sticks up more, kinda like in that fake model of it in gta 5. also i do kinda prefer the yellow filter, the more information and all that, but well that probably caused more slowdown and this was probably a prototype running on the pc with everything jacked up for the presentation, hence why it got changed, and also even rockstar does this, hence why RDR II didnt look anywhere near as good as it did in the trailers vs its console release. although that doesnt excuse reusing the traffic AI from gta 5 and all the same bad cop AI from that game though
If you use challenge_escape mood you kinda get the sunny vibe of the E3 2010 build!
That's a good idea! (hence why I didn't think of it haha)
How to do that?
@@JagiUGG There is a menu mod tool that allows you to change the moods as you like!
Love driver san francisco so much,so sad they didn't make another one
at 1:43 you can see the removed Bentley Mulsanne!
Such a shame!
DSF's final build is a social commentary on deforestation.
Yeah its a bit dumb, makes the map needlessly barren....

3:01 I think ‘Focus’ was one of the original names for ‘Shift’, along with ’Zap’.
3:19 That looks so cool I wish they kept that. I hope somebody makes a mod to recreate it or something.
this game never gets old
Does the Bentley Mulsanne still have its model left in the files?
On a development console I’m sure sitting somewhere
An e3 remake lets see
Edit:Man never noticed these changes(expect the map) and nice vid
Would’ve been even better if Lotus had stayed on as a brand in the game
I hope they make second part for the game

The only game Ubisoft didnt downgrade
Well a little
I did prefer the old shifting layout it looked really depressing and dead which is accurate to the fact tanner is in a coma
You kidding? It's bloomy
trees never make it outside of trailers in most games 😂
F for the removed tree!

Is there any Way to get this Version of the Game?
great chase bro and like put and I play it too because the graphics are great and the cars are original
there must be a fix on pc for that lighting

Is it gonna be on ps5? Really loved it
WHY the good stuff always get REMOVED in games while the bads remain
Why is Tanner driving a 1970 car in 2011?
Alot of people still drive classic cars...even in 2020!
@@MineAndDrive I never knew that

It's not bad lol. The traffic is traffic and the police are made up police in his head
