When I was in college, our choir used to travel to Atlanta for the annual gospel workshop, where we had mass choir rehearsals under the amazing direction of Dr. Clark. She had an incredible ear and could pick out any off-key notes like no other!‼️🦻🏽🤦🏽🤣
Love this! Aunties are like second mothers! Beautiful duet! TWINK! ;-) She is the gospel singers Muse! Larry be encouraged and keep on ministering! God bless you'll...real good! 🙂
This very inspirational and moving. Yes we need more of this and with all the sister doing a somg at the end. When I watched anyting on Dr. Mattie Clark. I always thing John Henry Reese in Baptist church, may he R.I.H.
I truly enjoyed this! My late parents were blessed to be around your grandmother and they wanted me to experience it. It was a honor to be in rehearsals with Dr. M. M. Clark and Twinkie! The first grandson, I think. I know Denise is proud of you! I remember learning " Be Still " and many songs. Thank you, Twinkie ❤ and Larry! ❤
Yes definitely want to see and hear more like this. Twinkie is so anointed! It doesn’t matter what she sings in just a few notes you hear and feel the anointing. Thank you Larry for keeping the legacy going.
I keep replaying when Twinkie Plays at the end. Larry’s expression and words are exactly what I would have said and done when she tagged him to play. 😂
Please share more moments like this….P.S. these onions yall chopped up. I remember Dr. Mattie Moss Clark as a young child and heard many stories of how stern she was. But she just wanted perfection for the Lord. She’s dearly missed.
I love Dr. Mattie Moss Clark and Twinkie. You are so anointed and loving. RIH. I've always loved your singing and playing for as long as I can remember. I remember when your mom passed away. I was young, but I remember my father saying, "Oh No Mother Mattie Moss Clark died today." He was hurt about it. I will never forget that day. I fell in love with your mother through TH-cam videos. The movie is beautiful. Bless you and the family. ❤❤❤😊
I love ya'll to life. Always have. Always will. And you KNOW I loved me some Doc! Of course I will never forget Jo' Nathan's phone call that night. It was one time I knew I could break down on the phone with one of my Boys and not lose any cool points since he knew the moment he said it I was gon' lose it. I went to school the next morning and stayed in the Practice Rooms the ENTIRE day playing and singing the entire MMC Anthology... It's amazing to me that this was 30 years ago and I thank God that Jo' Nathan is my brother to this day and Larry, you already know... (also RIH to Gramma Sybil and Uncle Bill) (Alfred DuBose Jr.)
Bro. Larry, you had me in tears, talking about Thee Great Dr. Mattie Moss Clark. Thanks for sharing some intimate moments. Of course, please do more, we enjoy you and Thee Twinkie Clark!!!
The song that Twinkie first introduced, there’s actually a full live video of Twinkie and Dr Mattie Moss Clark teaching that song to a choir I believe in the 80’s. It was amazing to see Dr. Clark at work. She had that choir tight! Everything that is said about her rehearsals are true and some lol. We love the Clark Family ❤. Twinkie is such a huge influence on musical especially me. Thanks Brother Larry for holding up the banner and baton!
I've said it before... I think Twinkie gets lost in the "theatrics" of the Clark Sisters performances. They do so much and Twinkies ministry is so different from where the sister have shifted. I think she needs to do an acoustic recording where she can vocally just do her thing to her vibe.
Really?95 percent of the songs that they perform today were written and arranged by Twinkie 40+ years ago. She's been singing and playing since 1966...she's been writing and arranging since 1971. What more do yall want her to do
They do More performing than minstry. Not saying they don’t minister at all but the times in Gospel Music has shifted to more performance based over ministry!
1 thing about Twinkie she gon make sure Denise gets mentioned in every interview 😭🖤🖤
Do u know what part she talk about denise

You are right. Definitely true!
To be in rehearsals was a honor with them!!
Awesome
Twinkle, when are you going to come back on tour please?
She’s not into all that. Let her chill and rest.
We can relate.

Larry, who taught you to play the keys? Or did you learn by ear?
Thank you Twinkie and Larry! Is there a Generations LP I can purchase?
What is the name of the last song Dr. Mattie Moss Clark recorded?
Be still and know that I'm God
Larry Clark looks like olanda draper
