I love how you venture out of your family’s comfort zone and experience the real life of Filipinos. Navigating public transport, trying local street foods, and staying in simple accommodations with your kids are really eye-openers. Stay safe🥰🥰🥰🥰
I salute your family for having the courage to venture out in an area which is a far cry from the sophisticated ambience of Makati and BGC. Actually it's the way to go to experience the real Philippines. Not too many vloggers go out of their comfort zone so I can understand why Rebecca is anxious and stressed out going to a very unfamiliar place. I feel the same way too.
You are doing very well in navigating the chaos of transportation in the Philippines. The apprehension associated with traveling to unfamiliar places is natural.
Alaminos is famous also for their longganisa (sausage). They're bite sized with little toothpicks in between each sausage sold at their wet market. Fry it to crisp, the combination of pork fat and garlic, in my opinion the tastiest, most delicious sausage in the world!
Me too but the reason is taking the public transport is a bit hassle and the place to stay is a bit pricey now a days...so i need to wait for relatives or friends who owned cars to take me with them🤣
It's great that you're in Pangasinan! Your children will surely have a wonderful time exploring the Hundred Islands, Patar Beach, the Light House, and the Balingasay River, which is known for being the cleanest river in the area. You can even enjoy a delicious meal at the Balingasay Restaurant while taking in the beautiful scenery.
You and i are the same i guess, i too have anxiety and panic disorder and am a hermit also. :) I am Canadian and came here to try and calm down and live a slower simpler life, :)

Hi Wistl Family! Nice to see you've made it there first, and hope you've enjoyed the new surroundings and sceneries going to Alaminos as well. And glad to see that I'm the first one again here tonight, too. I did enjoy this video tonight.
Weather reports in the Philippines is not really reliable 😅 when it says it will rain, it could be boiling hot! It says it will not rain... then...boom! You're wet 😅 It will be raining cats and dogs in one city, then after you passed it, it's all dry and sunshine 😆 That's just the Philippines for you... everyday is always an adventure 😉 An umbrella is always safe to carry... for rains... and the burning sun in the after noon. Keep safe and God bless! 😇

Being a local, I myself also suffer the same anxiety as you are when travelling in the Philippines. But on the positive note, its those uncomfortable journeys that we tend to remember and cherish and we tend to forget those trips that go so well its uneventful, if you know what i mean 😅. By the way, I have a recommendation for another family-friendly destination: Anawangin Cove in Zambalez. You and your family can spend the night there on tents and campfire right by the beach. Victory Liner have trips going to the town of San Antonio, Zambalez, which is the jumpoff point going to Anawangin. Anawangin is quite a unique beach. It is like Baguio and Boracay having a baby. You gotta see it.😊
I know it’s tough travelling with kids in tow but that’s what makes you unique. You’ll get used to way of traveling here in time. If u only have one Filipino friend to ask for help everytime u travel then it’d be easier. Btw, stay in Makati come holy week (Apr 2-8) it’s gonna be so quiet and empty, enjoy that rare moment esp from Thu to Sat, the whole Metro Manila in fact. It’s the time people exodus from the city to the provinces. Traffic out of the city will be horrible. But if u already have travel plans brace yourself. Better be out before Thu and back by Sat. All the best to your family.
Wow I’m impressed lovely Wistl Fam! I’m just in awe of you all traveling to Alaminos. Taking the bus to an unknown place you’ve never been 💚 Excited for the next video and can’t wait😢 Take care you all
Wow so this trip is before u went to Baguio right? Since the haircut isn't yet there, u mentioned about the haircut a while ago, that it'll be uploaded, quite noisy in my street now & my fan is very loud 😂, couldn't open d a/c since I got coughs & cold with sudden cold winds and moist/dew during recent nights & dawns. Alaminos seems so nice & where u're staying us looks also nice, clean & well maintained plus everything is walking distance. U're also near the public market & commercial areas. Glad u found the right one & I get ur anxiousness, coz I always feel the same specially if I'm not someone with a local to guide me coz u never know what ull gonna get.
You can have your child sit on your lap and when the bus is moving and there are extra seats, you can have your child sit down, still at no extra cost.
Don’t worry you don’t need to be anxious it’s safe like In place that there’s lot of people there’s no one can do such bad thing stay safe and enjoy your stay ❤
People in provinces are more friendly , hospitable , polite . Price are cheaper than MManila specialy in BGC which is high end corporate area. And the bus you took , Victory Liner is one if not the best public bus transport in northern luzon. So just feel relax and enjoy your travels.
You’ll be good there in philippines as long as you did research for places you want to go it’s better to go morning time where you have more time to adjust. But do not go during peak hours.
That time when you are in Pasay terminal it was peek season it was a long week end so majority of in the city travel out of town for vacation. while you in cubao it was just ordinary day
I commend you guys (esp. Bex) for always trying to step out of your comfort zone and being more adventurous. We need to do it if we want to grow. But it's still hard so kudos to your efforts! About province life, yes produce and most things are cheaper in the province. And it's safer because crime in PH is generally more concentrated in Metro Manila. But there's always pros and cons to living in the province compared to city life. It just really depends on your needs. Anyway, been to Pangasinan in Bolinao which is further north but haven't gone to Hundred Islands yet. So looking forward to your H.I. vlog. ᵔᴗᵔ
The towns of Alaminos, Sual, Lingayen and Dagupan have always had record hot temperatures, more so during the months where rains and heat combine to produce humidity that is not comfortable, at all. Nevertheless, you're all coming through far better than you'd probably expect. Tired, perhaps, but you can still smile about it. Props to everyone. Be safe and enjoy.

Parts of the phillipines look like paradise and look amazing. But then there's the heat, risk of big storms, insects and mosquitoes, spiders, sea snakes and jellyfish, land snakes, poverty and of course crime.
