Im not denying that he could fill a midfield role for Liverpool, but people need to stop pushing the idea at every opportunity. He may have certain qualities that might be good in a midfield, but why would you want to take one of the world's best Right backs, and convert him to a midfielder for no reason. a) without an adequate replacement, and b) why would you want to disrupt the harmony that him and Robbo have built up? Liverpool's whole attacking system at the moment, relies mostly on the fullbacks, so unless Klopp plans to chance that system entirely, then it would be a no from me.

I prefer him right back. The only ones that can replace him and that are already at the club are Curtis Jones and Naby Keita. Let`s hope Naby stays injury free and Curtis is ready and gets a consistent run. Otherwise they will have to buy in a replacement.
Last game Woodburn showed he can be better option than Curtis, woodburn looks more robust and his all around game is better can be a good number 8.

If we use him as cm, i would play him just like kevin de bruyne, but it will be a waste if we tried it on recent squad, because there are nobody who could play as false full back who could cover his space at CM.
Thats why we still play him as RB and pair it with henderson who could defend well and flexible on changing position

As much as I love Trent but No he is not. Gini playstyle looks more alike of Tsimikas which I think Tsimikas is better in attacking. To me we already have Keita. Remember that Klopp said there is a plan for Keita in future. Well that time is now. Actually he was not injured just that the staffs were preparing his physique to be a more versatile midfielder.
No he was injured, his physique has not changed since he arrived at the club except for him having more injuries now. And Gini & Tsimikas are nothing alike!
@@johnnybrubaker Yes he was but saying he was all injured during his absence is wrong. Tsimikas & Gini their ball control is quite similar. Just that Tsimikas is more mobile and Gini is more of a ball holding type. You should try analyze more on player by their style not by their roles dude. That is where you limit your observation as a manager.
