- Here's how to quickly operate a hydraulic angled snow plow on a Bobcat Toolcat 5600 (same controls as a Skid Steer). I also show the plow in action in 10-12in of snow. My ~8ft (94in) hydraulic angle snow plow with a skid steer quick attach that I use to plow my concrete driveway. Its a TMG Industrial SP-240 plow that can go on a skid steer, tractor FEL or in my case a Toolcat. I have about 16k sq ft of concrete and another 4k sq ft of gravel to clear. I can do that in about 20-30 mins with this setup.

Looks pretty easy. Thanks for the upload, should make my life much easier tomorrow
No problem 👍
Nice vid. Thanks! I have an older Toolcat (2007 "D" model) that I used to use in concert with an 8' plow quite similar to yours. I found that adding weight to the box would help...along with tire chains, of course. And, yeah, float on the boom is asking can be asking for trouble.
6:05 that looks like the cockpit of a star wars imperial walker! you should play the move music soundtrack while you plow snow hahahahahahaha
2.6.22 Nater, thats so cool moving the snow around.
That all we do in winter...lol
I love that toolcat!
Def on my list of things to own someday!
Thanks for posting!
They're handy!
This was pretty cool, ty for sharing!
You're welcome!
The one thing i hated about plowing snow is that the snow would piped along the side of the road wound encourage drift snow to accumulate along the edges and if it was a very snowy year you have to come and push them back further or remove it altogether . With blowing the snow , it reduces the volume and moves it further away from the drive way.
Yes but you have to drive much slower with a blower. I dont get enough snow in SE Michigan to justify a blower.
@@NaterTater i am right across the border from you and probable get the same amount of snow , i mange to to do a good job of blower small accumulation of snow after watch real professionals residential snow removal companies from Quebec .
I just got a toolcat for doing a little of everything. Plowing snow is a big use for it in the winter. How does the 4wd do with our traction control? Comparing my dash to yours I don’t have it.
Hey Thomas, check out my playlist for more info. Notably the one on traction control th-cam.com/play/PL8d9FovK2dNQl6Z3BJmlT6Wly7QAzNV15.html
Does it come with a salt spreader?
Many add salt spreaders. I avoid them like the plague due to rust.
I am soo jealous. GoPro? check; drone? check; dog in front passenger seat riding shotgun? 🤣 Hows the Greenworks holding up on the deck with that much snow?
My dog wouldn't enjoy it. Daughters come along for a ride often though! New greenworks snow video being made right now! Same snow storm.
