This is a monster song. Andy will always be one of the absolute great vocalists of our time, but to be able to deliver this level of a performance over 30 years after the original recording is a testament to amazing talent, professionalism and commitment to caring for his voice. I’d love to be coached by this guy.
They were grown men in 1990 when this song came out. They're just 33 years older now. I don't know how old all of them are, but Mark Harris is 61 years old now, meaning he was around 28 when this came out. Andy Chrisman, the lead vocalist, is probably the youngest, and he is 57 years old now, but was around 24 years old when this song was released.
I have enjoyed the songs from 4him over the years, and still enjoy listening to them today. I have almost every one of their albums and would like to find their earliest 2 or 3, if they were made available for purchase. "Where there is faith" is one of my favorite songs by 4him.
My favorite song, right there. Can't help but sing along every time I hear it. Edit: Just realized what I didn't hear was Andy's high note but given his age, I'm not surprised but, still sounds so awesome.
What?!- he’s singing this in the original key. His age is not showing here. I promise that high note in the bridge is actually the easiest part of the song for him since it’s falsetto. He opted to get a drink of water and (maybe for stylistic reasons) chose to leave it out, but that’s not an age thing. This is a monster song to sing in this key, and here he just performed it in the original key. I need to know how to care for my voice like this!
I played this for my son before he was killed the next day walking to the school bus. This song has held my family together in this difficult season.

I recognize Andy, Kirk, and Mark, but is the 4th member Marty, or is that someone else (far left)?
You’re correct. That is Marty
@@colinwood5504 Thanks. I didn't recognize him at all.
@@brendonneely9456Marty is next to Andy with the glasses. Kirk to Marty's right.
@@jdaniel3068 Thanks. I did realize a while back that I mixed up Kirk and Marty in looking at this video initially.
Nope, these are still the original 4.
