I love Julian Lloyd Webber's music; he brings such depth and emotion to every single piece of music he plays. His Arioso is haunting and magnificent...and I know how you feel, severusrocker, I think I'm the only person in my year to enjoy the cello and classical music!
You AND severusrocker AND me .....Ive been playin violin forever and it turned me on to "CLASSICAL" ....Julian is brilliant - makes me wanna chuck away my violin and play cello-maybe I will?!!!

Beautiful Performance, the first time I heard this piece it was on the radio in Mexico they have a Classical Staion anyways the song piece was played on Piano it has so much emotion I almost cried I was only 8 years old thanks for posting this :)

I always like whatever Julian Lloyd Webber plays. His interpretation of Bach's Arioso is beautiful!
I saw him live at a concert in Suffolk during the 1980s. He was amazing!
I think this piece would fit both a wedding and a funeral... this one is for sure in my funeral

I heard Julian Lloyd Webber playing this arioso at his concert in Seoul in 1994. This video reminds me of that time. Wonderful playing!
