3000 volt Tesla Coil demo - Bug Zapper (3 volt)

This video is about my new Tesla Coil. Instructions for making this Tesla Coil can be found on youtube’s Plasma Channel. It is a micro version of the classic spark gap Tesla Coil.

It is powered by a 3-volt Bug Zapper racket which has an output of 3000-volts. That 3000-volt output is connected to the spark gap. The rate which the spark crosses the gap sets the frequency of the AC powering the primary.
One side of the spark gap is also connected to a lead of the primary coil. While the other side of the spark gap is connected to the capacitor bank input. The output of the capacitor bank is connected to the other primary lead.
The primary coil then creates a magnetic field which induces a voltage on the secondary coil. At the very top of the secondary is the top load which acts as a capacitor. After all of this, the resulting voltage on the top load is about 30,000 volts. With 30,000 volts you can do many amazing things.

Did you use exactly the same parts as the plasma channel or did you change something?
