I actually think the scenery change in Rustic Jungle feels nice too, because it's not just the same boring grassland, it actually changes to a broken factory that acts as a tower you need to climb in order to get to the end.
I'm glad there's a video appreciating every single map for something unique now :3 Personally I would have a different point for AVM and Poisonous Forest. For AVM, the tower section is SUPER chaotic and fast paced with the rotating lava, alarms and falling debris. For Poisonous Forest, it is like Cave System where it feels so expansive and atmospheric. The purple gradient on the lava and the really thin platforms made the map so pretty but also so terrifying when first playing through it. It was a really unique feeling that I feel no other map accomplishes as well as this one!
Even tho ive quit the game already I still do miss it most of the time, all the cool features i got to see being added, all the insane community maps being added I do miss it, but sadly ive just set my mind on staying "retired" for this long Oh yeah im also gonna say that i actually still watch FE2 content I can never escape it huh? 😅 One thing that resonates with me is Rigor in general It shows just how far you've really come And in those 6 minutes of the lvl it shows how far you really traveled in just 6 minutes It just shows just how fast you can really go
I'm also gonna add some stuff i like about a few maps that you didn't include :D Lost Woods: i like the sfx when you press a button and it opens up a pathway Oriental Grove: that one bridge that disappears after a certain time. reminds me of when i played fe2 wayyy back then and i accidentally fell through that bridge LOL Cave System: idk why but i like that small part in the ravine section that just falls off Also just adding to flood island: i miss these kinds of end regions. ziplines to end regions and yeah the end region being engulfed in lava is also something i dont really like Construction Thrill: the acid turning into the neon lava by flashing a bright red and then the lava texture fading in (it's unfortunately kinda broken though cuz it turns green after flashing) i forgot sky sanctuary existed i remember that time i was looking for the lost page in wild savannah but i just couldn't even after looking **everywhere**, so i looked it up and i was "Oh." Fallen (classic): can't forget the platforms disappearing, which is an interesting mechanic just not executed well Abandoned Facility: for me, i really find it interesting how the architecture is similar to fe1 rooms (the pipes being octagonal). abandoned facility is also the first insane, which got me thinking maybe this was originally intended for extreme mode but got scrapped so fe2 became a thing also not to be pedantic but that's a stalactite not a stalagmite 😭 (for magmatic mines) i'm pretty sure crazyblox removed copyright from the fe2 soundtracks now never put two and two together and that the industrial factory lookin thing is actually the one polluting the flood in rustic jungle lol
@@Garry_thefish Oops, didn't actually go to the timestamp lol. Yes its Calamity, I just assumed they were talking about a Doors OST as 3 tracks from that game are used.

@@YozyTH-cam yes I agree
For avm that's totally a fair thing to point out, although for pf I didn't want to repeat the same point a third time

sucks that on DSF the walls dont sync with the music anymore :/
True, the time the music starts got shifted so it isn't perfectly in sync. Its still a really cool feature even in its current state though.
