I've known Vanessa her whole life.. she still has the same infectious smile and laugh. She inspires me to be greatful no matter the circumstances because if she can keep her joy in what she's been through I can keep my joy through the minor struggles in life I have. She is a true witness for Christ as well - that's where she draws her strength. Her family has been a rock through this.
