Without seeing the instructions, most wallpaper these days is paste the wall. You will find it is so much easier to do if it is. Good effort for first try tho! 🤙

Don't be so harsh on yourself, you did an INCREDIBLE job with the wallpaper, Clair! Had it been the Peel-n-stick, wouldn't it have come with the risk of it losing the adhesive every time it touches the wall, like how adjusting a sticker on a Lego set can risk it not sticking down! Those art-pieces would look great in MIMA & TATE modern!

Love your grass - agree there a few dodgy patches. You're getting there James. My late Dad was a self-employed Painter and Decorator his craftsmanship used to amaze me. He used to hang rolls of wallpaper and they looked like a whole sheet was on the walls - you just couldn't spot the joins.

First time wallpapering, and its a wall with a window , blind AND a radiator!! You like to make things "easy" for yourself don't you? 😄You did a great job with all those obstacles. I have this wallpaper in the other colour way and love it.
Measure the width of your paper then take 50mm off total and measure out from corner of wall. Put a straight pencil line all the way down the wall with a six foot level using bubble so its plum on your first drop. then cut paper into corner. Take time to get 1st perfect then they all butt together lovely x
It looks really good Clair for just going in there and going at it for the first time. You can’t see any flaws unless you point them out. I feel you though, perfectionism. AND you did it without breaks and on that tippy fuzzy stool no less! Give yourself more credit 💓 James and the cat 😂😂 simple but hilarious.

If the corner isn't straight then it all goes tits up after the first piece. Start in the middle. Use piece of string with a weight to get a vertical straight (you can get ones with chalk that you ping against the wall and it leaves a line). Work outwards from there. Patterns with vertical lines can look odd when you get to the corner if you have to cut them out of line though. First attempt, excellent. Definitely give it another try
James you have a mini that is always at the garage!! hardly a fighter jet.. Hope Neil gave you some of his 'Palace Ale' decent drop they sell at the ground. Good effort at the papering, I'm a decorator who does papering the trick to lining up the pattern all the way down is timing, each piece has to be 'soaked' for the same amount of time, you getting it wrong (upside down) would have impacted the 'soaking time' try to get the 'paste the wall paste' less mess and a bit easier, no charge for the consultancy.
Your a perfectionist and you will know all the little bits that are wrong but honestly the wallpaper looks really good especially as you never done it before 👍I struggle to match 2 sheets of blank paper 😂
PMSL Never heard Clair swear so much in one Vlog. Love it. To be fair Claire that pattern is not the easiest and wall paper is a pain in the rear at the best of times.
