Honestly, cold maps are probably my favorite types of PvE maps. Much like Yukon it will supply a difficulty against bears or wolves, making it interesting as Zombies aren't your only threat. As long as you have a camp fire, cold damage isn't that bad.
Currently I'm developing a Asia map that is made to be feel similar to a official unturned map. And seeing Japan really gives me hope of a Asia based unturned map, to go against the euro and western maps.
Hey Vortac, i am working on a map for this based off of a real world plan i want to work on later in life, effectively building an island super-nation/super building from the ocean floor up, and will be effectively many many times larger than any current map with TONS of special things from npcs to hidden locations to dangerous but lucrative super farms... so if you want to check it out (when its done of course) please take a look at "Cavin Cove: The Fallen Dream" (i call it that because current map editor settings limit build size far too much for me to build the entire thing full scale X-/ ) ill try and post again when it is complete
I expected Maine to have all the Stephen King characters. ;D Just a note, I may start working on a map of my own, and I have a really, really dumb idea for it. It's all going to be one giant city.

I don't really like medium and hard mode, because from my experience, every single thing I find has 20% or less durability. Does this stop happening over time? Can anyone help?

im working on a large map on unturned cald NE Oregon it wil incude some large towns, wild animal, snow damage, and npc's unfortunately my PC died so im saving up my money for a new one #unturned rules

Definitely need a map based in a one city and fleshed out with taller buildings, maybe even skyscrapers with more detail.

deepwood will not load for me it gets about a quarter of the way then just stops. it is wierd because it doesnt crash or freeze it just sits there.

That's just sheer bad luck. You can definitely find items with better durability than that, especially on normal.
