Another great video Jim and Shaun. unfortunate with the groups. i loved Taipei i get back there one day . I pretty sure most of the collection came from mainland china when the Nationalist fled to Taiwan they took a lot of the old treasures with them.

      Hi Gary,
I think 100% are from China, there is a very interesting story about how the bring every single thing to Taiwan and really impressed how they transfer such beautiful items over!
Really worth to visit to have a look.

@@Follow_ussg Apart from the food , The highlight was the changing of the guard at the memorial to General Chek ( ? )

That trip mainly is for the pride and food, hahahahaha
Shaun was saying should watch the changing of guard at the National Revolutionary Martyrs' Shrine, it is more impressive than the memorial to General Chek, it is also beside the museum (^__^)

Hi Jim & Shaun, what a beautiful view leading up to the museum. I love the style of these types of buildings. I'm glad you swapped into English at the beginning because I wasn't doing so well with your language lol. I have added to my list when I visited Taiwan, the trouble is my travel list is always too long!!! Keep up the good work guys, really enjoying your coverage. Best Wishes, Mervyn

Hi Mervyn, thanks so much for dropping by. Yes, we have to agree that the pathway leading up to the museum was really nice. We love it ourselves too! Apologies for the boo-boo in terms of the language used. It was meant to be narrated in English but Jim apparently did not receive the memo. Hehe... Good to know that our vlog has in one way or another inspired you to visit Taiwan soon. Our travel list is always too long as well and we gathered that the trick is to start somewhere, no matter how near or far that desired destination might be. Once you start, you will never want to stop. Have a lovely week ahead! Love, Shaun
