Nice pull!! I have a 9th gen auto in a touring coupe. Wanted a 6-6 so bad but so rare. I’m very happy with the car though. Driven it over 60k and just maintenance is all I’ve done. I’m getting a rv6 j pipe put in and then in a few months maybe a magnaflow or borla cat back. Nothing crazy the car has enough power as is.

@@MyBrothersKeeper101 Royal purple what? Don’t tell me you’re running anything outside API GL-4 75w-80, specifically a synchromesh formula made for yellow metals like our mostly brass synchronizers. As far as I’m concerned, Royal Purple doesn’t make anything compatible for this particular Honda/Acura manual gearbox/transmission. Running GL-5+ gear oils, viscosity thick as 75w-90 and thicker will not only prematurely wear out the synchros from the sulfur and other non-appropriate additives, but you’ll get locked out of gears and it’ll get notchy but in a very bad way when it’s heated up all the way.

I’m assuming you have the CDV deleted? Most 6MT owners eventually delete it one way or another. Anyone who doesn’t usually ends up with a super worn out clutch by the time they hit 75k+ miles, assuming they don’t beat the absolute piss out of the car every other chance they get. Lol Driving it with the stupid delay valve is night and day. You just have to get used to the now super prevalent LOW engagement point. If your clutch is new, the biting point should be around the 7/8” inch mark, upon release from the bottom of the floor. The clutch delay valve mushes the biting point and end of the clutch pedal engagement so badly, that you can never properly time it when you either need to hold or slip the clutch a little; if you just need to rev match a lot quicker; or if you wanna bang gears and get back on the gas immediately without the clutch slipping.
@@Nashtey_Stuff Wait, so did you keep it in the slave cylinder, or have you modified it to remove the valve already? And I heard about the detent springs, but the transmission mount is supposed to be removed in order for it to be installed properly, so
