Tom Day never fails to deliver the same consistently high quality music we've come to expect from him. It doesn't matter where he takes his style, he always hits the nail on the head and brings out the feelings he wants in his listeners with remarkable success. Personally I've been listening to his tracks as I drift off to sleep for the past couple of months. Pure relaxation!
I have been searching for a consistent source of relaxing music, I think your comments have helped me along the way. Truly pure, everything I do in life has a soundtrack, music fills my core with positivity.
I’m 25 going on 26 on Saturday. Found this song maybe 7-8 yrs ago. I have a family now and life should be good and it is tbh but for some reason I still feel empty. Decided to chug a beer and found this little gem deep in my favorites list and I guess it just helped me on a day where I’m just feeling really down even though I shouldn’t be. For any of you still listening I’m still here too
i just cried my eyes out to this."People don’t cry because they’re weak, people cry because they've been strong for far too long", i just want someone to tell me i matter you know? it hurts holding everything in. im glad i could listen to this song and get my feelings of my chest.
''When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down 'happy'. They told me I didn't understand the assignment, and I told them they didn't understand life.'' - John Lennon
I feel like this baloons are made to give away and to make people happy but you are there... far away from where you wanna be. Dont know where it takes you. Maybe it just takes you nowhere. Regardless where you wanna go, you wont get there. It's summer... everyone playing in the sun but we only stare into the sunset listen to rain.... This tune shows me that Life is beautiful but not for everyone. Sry for bad english, it's still a foreign language for me. Love y'all. Keep your Heads up.
A girl stands watching her dad packing for leave. He will be gone a long time. Her mother cries as he packs for duty. The girl cries, "but it's my birthday don't go." Tears fall down her face like the rain pouring outside. Sunset approaches and a sudden break in the rain gives way. A dispute goes on between mother and father creating more tension in the somber home. Banners of joy and happy wishes bend as the door swings open and a gust of wind blows in. The father leaves promising to be home one day. He goes alone, the girl runs after him, carrying balloons as a gift for him. Screaming, "no, not now, it's my birthday. Why would they make you leave now?" The car drives off, the father sees his daughters reflection in the rear view and he sobs as he stares at the clock. He's running behind. At last the car is out of sight, and the girl stands starring out across the ocean with those words echoing in her head, "Why now? But it's my birthday." A plane is seen flying over the ocean, and she returns home with more questions than answers.
+lea perrins hahaha yeah, it happens to me as well. I also listen to a lot of epic music, and since its not the most popular genre, I never expect to find many comments under them, but more often than I would like to, I bump into those horrendously cliche; paragraphs about 'charging forward against all odds with bravery in our hearts' and such corny nonsense and I am always like: please stop. So there are two scenarios. 1 is that you're not up your own arse. 2 is that I am as well. Take care :)
Music really is the closest thing to magic I can think of. Just look at some of the conversations happening on this video, all spurred on by music. It is actually quite backwards for the Internet (when people tend to use anonymity to attack one-another). Seeing people from totally different walks of life offering to help one another through things is more inspiring than the music its self. If only people could be like this in person :)
Ray of shine of brighten light, Call to you on solace night. And rose upon the setting sun, That race the world and be of none. I ask of you, of what to fair, Among the fields and flowers bare Deeds be worth of every ray, To ask you once and each new day
It's because it puts people in a inspired mood that they feel expressing what they feel will make them somehow deep. It's a weird affect sad songs have.
It's been 7 years ago, that I listen this song for the first time. 7 f*cking years ago. I was 14 and a lot of things happens until now. But when I come here and I listen this song again, it's like a trip to the past, like a way to bring me back lost memories from my childhood, a lot of fears and a lot of happiness too. This is indeed, the great power of music. Thank you Suicide Sheep and thank you Tom Day.
When you get introduced to emotionally inspiring music, it touches the heart, mind and soul at the very deepest of its core and plants a seed that will eventually flourish into the most beautiful thoughts and ideas that deepen our understanding of reality and help us contemplate life itself. This, is one of those songs.
I discovered this song back when MrSuicideSheep uploaded it, and I loved it. A lot of time has passed, definitely for the worse, and I forgot about the tune, but somehow it got back to my memory, I struggled a lot to find it, and well... It's not as special as I remembered it. All that matters, though, is that it does bring so many good memories. I thought back then I was doing bad, but looking back, nah, I wasn't, it was great. In fact, the song alone pushes me to do better, so I can go back to those days. Rarely do I do cheesy comments on TH-cam, but... I guess it is alright just once.
There once was a man His name was Tom Day He stood up every morning To let his kid play But then his child ran Far far away He couldn't stop thinking Didn't know what to say Did he treat the boy wrong? Could he even be blamed? No, the kid heard a song He recognized the name It was the song he made When he felt strange The song expressed his feelings When his life changed Tom no longer felt the pain He now understood his son He too ran away Both of them, forever walking in the rain
Finally I whisper as I brush my hair back from my face. Closing the pages placing my ink quill down, I turn to the window gazing out at the moon. " it's finally time to put my story into writing "
Just 3 day before this was out my life has changed for the worst, I felt so lost, sad and I was never going to see my family again. At the time that's how I felt but slowly step by step I'm making my way back, things won't be the same but at least it's a little better now. When I first heard this I broke down crying like never before and at the same time it up lifted my spirits, it was almost as if that I was meant to hear this but even though I was just browsing through my suggestions and I don't normally listen to this kind of music. But I do now.
My god the beginning part of the song with the wind sound and the piano makes the pic/drawing sooooooo nostalgic in a good way kinda reminds you of your childhood and the future ahead of you the long road to happiness
I've just started a new job and honestly i'm so nervous about a lot of things to do with it, there's a lot of pressure not to let myself or my co-workers down and prove that i'm grown up enough to deal with all this... and to come home with the reassurance of a sheepy track every day let's me drift off and forget about the worries... it let's me put a smile on my face and just relax. Thank you Sheepy, you really do make my day. :)
Lost myself in my thoughts and as the drums joined in I dropped a tear.. showing the world my biggest smile as the wintersun kisses my cheeks and says „Everything will be fine“
There are songs out there that make you dream. They put you in another place for a brief moment of time, a peaceful place, and let you watch your past. Its music like this that reminds me I'm here, and i got something to prove.
This track is really just a journey through enlightenment. The song begins, we are born into nothing but soundscapes and a clear mind for the first few moments. The piano chords come in, hinting at what's to come. The foreshadowing intensifies as the deep sound of strings makes us reminisce on what we've gotten ourselves into. A slow uprising of melancholy, feelings of deep and utter sadness with a sense of "I should really do better." arise and slowly slip away. We open our eyes. What's that in the distance? The sweeter sounds of strings erupt into a beam of light, illuminating the darkness that consumes. The percussion beats like our hearts as we discover hope within ourselves that we can do better. We work, we progress as the sound of bells emanate the euphoria of seeing results. And finally, with a deep and well deserved exhale we release the tension that has been building throughout our lives. We shed a tear or two of joy as the sun beams upon our passionate face, the rain has gone. By the end of it all we say, "That wasn't so bad, was it?" and are left with nothing but silence and a fragment of wisdom that we will carry with us so long as we allow it
Tom Day's music has recently become my primary source for tranquility and I just wanted to share this thought. Hopefully he continues to make music for the near and unforeseeable future.
people like we are, I mean people who listen to this music and understand the meaning behind, we will never be accepted by "normal" people. You know why ? because they are prisoners in their own cave and don't even try to come out. But there is light, and only a few are able to see it, and everybody who is feeling the same by watching this video and reading this comment knows what I mean
DjangoJenkins what is normal though to some people normal is what they done all there life but to someone else that's not normal so you can't say normal people cause everyone's normal is different
All the track is good and beautiful but the second part of the track sounds even more beautiful to me, there are awesome parts in it... It's a very beautiful track, as all others I heard from Tom Day. This guy is amazing, I love how some of his tracks start very softly and slowly and finally reach some wonderful powerful beautiful climax in the second part of the track, this is awesome, I love this track too ♥♥♥ Ymgarl I whole-heartedly agree with your comment, I couldn't have said it better : Tom Day never disappoints, all of his tracks are great... "Tom Day never fails to deliver the same consistently high quality music we've come to expect from him. It doesn't matter where he takes his style, he always hits the nail on the head and brings out the feelings he wants in his listeners with remarkable success." : Well said :) + 1000 with that comment !! ^^ And listening to this kind of tracks while drifting off to sleep is a brilliant idea I think, these tracks from him are indeed very soothing and relaxing, they're great to listen to in such moments :)
A little bit :)). Sometimes I meet one or two problems, and they get me to think so much. But I'm a kind of person who is very lazy :)) So I rarely solve my troubles absolutely. Aww, it's me that caused tiredness for myself :))
Đuôi khói that actually sounds just like me. D: well, but I have social anxiety and therefore stress about every goddamn situation that has people in it. I've been depressed for 3 years and I've also isolated myself in my room. My parents are quite worried but there is nothing to do. It's either me taking hold of my life or committing suicide.
Thanks Sheepy for the amazing song! Tom Day songs always have that magic that, not only take your breath away, but makes you relax, makes you feel, make you rethink you life and put a smile upon your face!
Not heard this for a looooooooooooooooooong time ,Still after all these years,it evokes the same old feelings & memories. Im right back there, living in that very moment
Something truly profound happening here! This channel, Mr Suicide Sheep, is where we are most human. I read the comments, people are filled with gratitude, humility, perhaps most of all; they're filled with appreciation. Appreciation for the music, how it makes use feel. How it evokes a sense of *living* The music becomes a catalyst for expression; I see many people who are at a low point, but come here and feel alive again. The music provides more than just a shallow escape, or something to drown out the dark. *It's almost healing.* I have always highly valued any form of art that evokes a sense of appreciation in even the most destitute.
dude this type of music always teleports me to nice calm peaceful places. I love it where ever im at i just close my eyes and listen and my imagination does the rest. Thanks for the upload

Can't agree more, I' amazed. Tom's work is so powerful and brings out the fragile side of us and reminds that we all are still humans. :')

I'm really struggling with life right now, and this song helps me. Thank you, Tom Day, and thank to everyone who understands.
We gotta take care of each other. 🙂🙏💪🍻
There are some songs that just leave you speechless. This is one of them...
Agree😭❤️
This song makes me wanna ask myself "where's life taking me?" And the girl offers me balloons and says "you'll see"
That just gave me chills ahaha this song truly magnificent
Plot twist: it's really a longhaired dude.
Varvino Gustelli doesn't really matter for the thing E5STRELLO meant though ^^
Varvino Gustelli haha way to kill it
I feel like this baloons are made to give away and to make people happy but you are there... far away from where you wanna be. Dont know where it takes you. Maybe it just takes you nowhere. Regardless where you wanna go, you wont get there.

This song brings a certain kind of hope in to the mind of a listener.
I understand how you feel.
Mursukorva2 Hope that nobody will make a stupid comment about it, trying to seem like a deep thinker. Yeah, I get what you mean.
Mursukorva2 Lol, complete opposite for me.

No better way to end my day than with some Tom Day. His music is always amazing, unlike many artists, I think he has yet to deliver something sub-par.

Far far away
He couldn't stop thinking
Didn't know what to say
Did he treat the boy wrong?

No, the kid heard a song
He recognized the name
It was the song he made
When he felt strange
The song expressed his feelings
When his life changed
Tom no longer felt the pain
He now understood his son
He too ran away
Both of them, forever walking in the rain
