Always felt so bad for the one "dad" who really loved him and didn't want the others to hurt him. He truly cared about him and protected him his whole life. Such a good movie.
The chubby stuttering man, yeah I was so sad during the last scene. He was my fav out of all the dad he had.
I think the 1st dad he killed regrets what they did. Also, the last dad had a chance to shoot him even after he got shot at the end, but still didn't do it. Man! This film really broke my heart.

This movie is so good but so sad
great acting skills from all actors.
i think the stuttering dad who was saying “don’t shoot” or “your not going to shoot right?” was the one that really truly cared for him the most cause he didn’t want him to get hurt even though he was trying to kill him
also the fist dad he killed was the one who loved him but just because the real dad threatened him , he had no choice but to let Hwayi in the scene.
I'm become a fan of Yeo Jin Goo after watching The Moon Embracing The Sun,Hotel Del Luna, Crowned Clown and now Hwayi...no wonder he won Best New Actor for this Movie...so Talented...cant wait for his new drama or movie 👏👏👏👏

You should literally watch any movie that you see Jin Goo shi. He is an exceptional actor with so many years of experience. Although some of his works didn’t gain so much recognition, he never fails to pull of his roles perfectly, from; A sweet and innocent teenager, to an evil King, I’m so proud of the actor he’s becoming 👏🏽👏🏽 I watched Hwayi and I cried so hard, but I definitely cried more in shoot me in the heart. Jin Goo shi hwaiting 👏🏽👏🏽
I really loved this movie. All his dads really do care for him in their own way. When I watched it on HBO, I was so sleepy watching the first few minutes, but later on, I got so hyped that I forgot how sleepy and tired I was. KUDOS to all who made this masterpiece

I normally watch the kdrama and then move on to movies played by the actor. For him I did the opposite I started with this movie and found him very talented. He has started very young as an actor and I m slowly growing to love him. I will finish all his movies first then look up his dramas...

I thought it was drama action movie, but then the monster shows up.
Monster is just a metaphor for his fear. Throughout the movie the monster is what he fears the most, and at this point he faced it, so he basically faced his fear.
Please check out this movie if you haven't already. The monster is just there, but doesn't play any parts in affecting the plot nor anything like that. This movie is extremely well made and is the best one I've ever seen.
Again, don't worry about the monster, give this one a try. :)
@@nnnee.01 I wouldn't say the monster represents his fear, it's technically the monster that is inside of him, that he is fighting against. I won't spoil but if you have seen the film you know the twist at the end. It's more like he inherited psychopathic tendencies and that monster represents that and he is fighting against those tendencies.

Wtf does the monster thing have to do with anything? Like seriously I don’t get it can someone explain to me please
He was kidnapped as a small kid and kept blindfolded in a dark crate, the monster represents his fears at that time. He had to overcome it to finally break free of his murderous fathers. It’s to be expected he would have psychological trauma from the what happened and how he was brought up, in a child’s mind that may manifest as the Monster he kept imagining.
I would also say that that monster represents the possible "monster" inside of him. If you have seen the film and you know who his real father is you know that man obviously has mental problems, e.i he is a Psychopath/Sociopath. Also he also mentions the monster to Hwayi, given to understand that it is an inherited psychosis. Hwayi inherited part of those Psychopathic tendencies but he fought against them, e.i. When he didn't want to kill anybody. But then because of the circumstances in the movie that "monster" took over and he started killing them, but he is still fighting throughout the movie with it so that, that monster doesn't completely take over.
I though this was a normal action movie,,, but then that monster popped up at the end. So... What's this movie about I'm confused

The thing is----that kid is not a psycopath. He was only trained and conditioned to become an assassin. His fathers tho, they are psycho except the driver dad who truly loves him.
