My only issue with the first story is that humanity isn't *JUST* a weed, we are the ultimate weed, after all, a weed can't grow without sunlight and CO2, humans can pop up literally anywhere we want given enough time and/or resources.

Actually the meaning of compromise means both parties are unhappy about the terms that they are under they get what they want but they are complete unhappy about it because of all the terms that come with it and legalities and red tape and sometimes yellow cop tape and sometimes black FBI tape so to speak metaphorically.
