- The cruise port in Nassau, Bahamas has so many good things to do. On our third day sailing on the Carnival Mardi Gras we mad an effort to experience some of the cultural history of the island nation.
On the second day of our Carnival Mardi Gras cruise, Melanin at Sea group cruise takes over the lido for a meetup to remember.

Man, watching this made me feel like I missed so much in Nassau. We did a private van tour of the island and visited some of the main sights.
We’ve thought about doing that tour. There are places on the island that we want to see but don’t what to go so far on our own we end up being a pier runner, lol.

We enjoyed this video! Dervin singing at Harley Davidson was touching! The people in the Bahamas are so genuinely nice. We have never been to the pirate or junkanoo museum. We just added this to our list next time. We found a video of a man beating up the Christopher Columbus statue. This was an awesome video!!
