Invisalign is just the brand that most dental offices have a direct purchasing line item for, and because they partner with a lot of dental offices, the number of features for their products is larger. Also, no gap in your teeth is a good thing to keep if you're already getting aligners made. Like, if you can't afford aligners then you probably can't afford to worry about it, but if you're getting them then it is preferable to use the opportunity to eliminate any major gaps between your teeth. It prevents food and other objects from getting wedged between your teeth as easily and causing damage. Just remember to thoroughly clean both your teeth and your retainer/aligner before wearing them, as your saliva will no longer be able to help slough away the plaque bacteria. It's also generally a good idea to get your dentist to hook you up with some high fluoride toothpaste even if you have no significant dental concerns. Used once a day, a high fluoride toothpaste can greatly improve the quality of your teeth's enamel surface.
