So I've Had Some Interesting Thoughts About This Cover, But I’d Like To Start With Pure Praise: The Instrumental I Actually Think Is A Bit Better Than The Original. The Choice Of Instruments Kinda Adds A Creepy Element While Keeping The Tone And Intensity Of The Original^. Now, The Vocals: At First I Thought It Was A Little Monotone, But The More I Listened To It, And Even After Going Back To Compare It To The Original, I’ve Come To Really Appreciate Just How Different It Really Is. It Reminds Me Of A Sorta, Reserved And Slow, Ominous Presence, As If You’re Toying With Your Prey. So While Will’s Performance Had That Intense And Dominating Presence, I Feel Like Yours Adds Some Unique Personality To The Lyrics^ And Of Course, It Would Be Doing You A Disservice If I Didn’t Mention The Visuals At Least Once. I Love How It Morphs And Contorts Into All Sorts Of Freaky Imagery, It Fits Perfectly With The Nightmare Theme^ I'm Not Totally Sure How To Make This Feel Conclusive, So I'll Just Say The Joke In The Beginning Of The Video Was Totally Worth The Reupload 😅
I’m glad it grew onto you! Since I couldn’t reach Wills level of intensity on the vocals, I put my time more towards reworking the instrumental and aspects you’ve pointed out. My vocal strength is only average at best, so I worked with what I’ve got😂The imagery was also an important factor I payed attention to, especially since I colored coded each section the same way Will did in the og. I’m glad to hear you overall liked the cover! And I HAD to reuse Wills video one more time for some comedic measures lol

Just curious how you did the higher pitched / child voice anyway I know it isn’t a different VA cus you’ve used the same voice on one of your original songs.
Was really suprised how good the cover is. I didn`t expect the song to have a good instrumental and good vocals at the sametime. I like that it feels like I`m listining to the origanal song while still having differences with the beat and the vocals. Definitly got a new sub
