I have seen folds turn within tunnels, I have touched the silken sky as countless artists weave grace before my very eyes. Harmony of winds as if each breath of tiny life is reaching out to me. Wings of divine dunes dance in myriads of haze and I see wonders that hold me speechless. Each one spins a web as if controlled by natures built-in chip. I see grace and I know that I am nothing in comparison, for we are nothing because we dance alone, not so the Starling... unity is life and so wonderful.

But we are not nothing because we see and wonder. In the act of wondering we long for our true nature- we sense we can be more. But 'built-in chip' should be 'built-in rite'. Much better!

Whenever I'm in need of a little healing magic I walk down to the River Thames and watch the starlings gathering and then roosting under Wandsworth Bridge. Magnificent birds :)

we witnessed a murmuration today, although not so large, it was just as mesmerizing and spectacular.. I loved at the end of this video how they all just settled down as one....that's the same that happened with ours as well. So very cool to see in person.

Thank you for this. I remember when I was a little girl on the school playground in Texas, huge shadows would fall over the playground on hot, sunny days, and I would look up and see these birds when I expected a thundercloud! Pure magick!!!

Francesca Van der Geld I've experienced them before. Starling often murmerate a couple of miles west of where I live. I saw a 'suggested video' on TH-cam earlier called greatest ever starling murmuration. It was certainly a big one, but it lacked the beauty of some of the formations I'd seen, so I looked for another video and found the Gretna Green one.

tu aime l'harmonie et la paix avec la nature , debarasse toi de ton PC parce que les cmpasants necessaire pour creer un ordinateur sont le resultat de l'industrie siderurgique et chimique, les deux industries les plus poluante au monde. donc le seul fait que tu possedes un ordinateur signifie que tu contribues a la destruction de la planete et au massacre de centaines d'especes animales , sans conter les ecosysteme .
je sais c'est pas plaisant a lire mais c'est la triste verite . tu peux me repondre ce que tu veux desormais , mais les faits sont la . la seconde guerre mondiale a mojns abime la planete, que ce que l'on a fait depuis le debut des annees 2000, donc tu vois plus il y a de guerres humaines et mieux la planete se porte .
