Unfortunately the lack of AC is a deal breaker for us. It’s short listed but we’re going to keep searching.
Thanks for tagging along D and recording the video.
3 more to look at today 👍

Nice tour,i would have the living room up stairs instead of a bed room as down stairs looked like there were just windows , sliding doors would have looked better , unusual seeing a round house ,i like it , looked quiet around that area as well ,have a great week

Hi and thanks, 2 Gringo On The Gulf Jennifer & Darryle for sharing. It's such a lovely rental house.
The beach is just a few steps away. As you say, picking up shells is fun to do.
Nice and cozy. May I ask if restaurants, stores, and a gas station are nearby?
    Well done. 🙋‍♀🙋‍♀🛶🛶

Good morning to you two! What a neat property! Thank you for showing this to us! Yes….at least 1 a/c would have been nice, but this is a great house and yard. I like all the extra space inside the compound walls! Great for kids playing, dogs roaming, and storing your vehicles, boats, rv’s.
    Have an awesome week!

Looks to be pretty Nice construction overall, covered/protected by a Very Questionable Roof and screen structure ?
How sound would that be with high winds, rainstorm,
bugs, critters , dirt/dust,etc. getting in thru the screen???

Hola mi amigo 👋👋 hope you and your family are doing well 🥰🙏
You would be surprised what those roofs can withstand but yes bugs n an critters n heat pouring in hard pass for us 😂😆
It obviously survived the last hurricane lol maybe some minor repairs it's a few blocks inland so that would make a difference a bit.

What a lovely area with so much white sand! I had never heard of Chelem... it must be a small town? I think all that sand might be a bit stressful to keep out of the house? but what do I know? It is very lovely though. I think Air conditioning would be worth a little extra expense... maybe hook it to Solar?? Anyways thank you for the tour, it's so nice to see what is available and how much it is going for.

Ya the sand is a pain but the price you pay living close to the beach
Many homes are like this on the beach side

I never needed A/C in the Caribbean because of the amazing and constant breeze from the sea and a ceiling fan. Do you not get the same breeze in Mexico being close to the sea?

Why no AC? Is it because electricity is regulated by the Govt? My niece in Merida has a/c but tries not to use it unless I am there. Everything is regulated, such as gas for the hot water heater. Once you use up your allotment, it's off until the next starting date. I was taking cold showers! It's always HOT in Yucatan. So much sand, sun rays, concrete and not much shade make some folks miserable. The locals are used to it. It's kinda funny. Outside each house you'll see the electric meters. Only one meter means not much power & probably no AC. My niece has two electric meters and has 4 A/C units yet she doesn't turn on the A/C very often. I give her money so she can keep me cool!

      Hola friend 👋👋
Just has a palapa roof so you would lose the cold air. Mmm we have been here 2 years in a beach town and Merida the power is not regulated 😅. You can run out of gas, some homes don't have hot water tanks but nothing is regulated. The power is not cheap here if you are running the AC 24/7.
Even the propane can get costly if you have a gas stove gas hot water tank. But again nothing is regulated .😂
Thank you so much for your support and feedback we truly appreciate you friend. 💗🙏
PS: This home actually sealed up the roof openings and added AC units in the some of the rooms. 😊
